@@THEMADWATCHCOLLECTOR Hi Russell! What an honor to have you visit my channel! Feel free to use my videos and pictures and I hope my spoken English is understandable. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Definitely a must have for your collection and to add to a prized piece like the Casiotron (I have the 50th anniversary limited re-edition). Thanks for watching and commenting.
@@williamgreeter1855 Availability is really limited and demand is high. But I think with patience you will eventually get one. Hopefully they don't decide to stop producing it anytime soon (Casio does this kind of thing...). Have you tried buying it online or asking in retailer stores if they will order one for you? Thanks for watching and commenting.
@@FranRo-h5m Dear user, these models have in common only the manufacturing company, a comparison video has nothing to compare. However, I have inserted a photo for you in the post of my channel.
The contrast is lower when you look at it perpendicularly, but the readability is not compromised in my opinion. They could have actually used an STN LCD on this module that was created specifically for this watch. I don't justify Casio though, it's a company in today's system that aims to make profits (and to maximize you have to take away a little something). Thanks for watching and commenting.
Agree. I have 2 modern squares and one suffers from the same low contrast issue. I can’t stand it. Casio needs to fix that problem. I can’t bring myself to buy another square without seeing it in person (and that limits my options tremendously).
Superb video my friend! I’d love to use some of your comparison shots for my review show! You’ll get a name check ! Well done!

The old digits are much blacker and crisper. The new one is kinda hazy/faded. Weird

The display on the new one is total garbage against the old one what's going on at Casio ?
