I have this watch also. For me it's great - I like knowing when calls, etc come through, I like to keep track of my steps and I use the timer function in the gym when doing sets of weights - it beeps AND buzzes so I can listen to music and know when rest periods end and when my lifting periods start and end. The stopwatch doesn't go down to hundredths of a second (but then, who honestly cares?) and you really need to set alarms on your phone because the UI is fiddly. Not really problems to myself. The only peeve I have is that replacement cases are not yet available in the market if I fancy changing it's colour scheme.
I have love and hate relationship with this watch. Compare to the basic GShock, GBD200 UI totally horrible. Very slow if you want to exit the workout mode. Same goes with GBD200, any smartwatch you can disable notification. But for GBD200, if you plan to use the notification forget about it. Hard to read and few steps to delete it. There is a timer, if you go to workout mode but not traditional timer like other G's. Apart from that, it's still a great watch. If you plan to get away from smartwatch yet would like to track your steps and love the MIP display. This watch is for you. Anyway, great review and keep up with the great content 👍🏻
I have found myself right there with you, friend. The notifications are annoying me and I’m close to disabling them. I want to keep incoming calls at least. The slowness is awful too. I’m now wondering if I’m better off with the 5000u. But I love the MIP!
I had this and a garmin instinct. The watch was awesome but it didn’t do well in tracking my workouts :( sold it after a month, Im now using garmin and the OB 5600.
200 m water resistance (just like all the other Gs). I have a dozen Gs and this is one of my favorites. I’ve two other Gs from “G Squad” family - GBA800 & GBD800 - which are cheaper, but without notifications feature even though they have Bluetooth.
To be honest a regular Casio (or any other nornal watch)on the left wrist and a mi band on the right is the best combination for me. The mi band is quite discreet and I have the notifications off (that's a personal preference) . So I get to wear my watches and still have the fitness tracking features. I need to charge the mi band like once every two weeks.
You can set an audio alarm and vibration at the same time. It depends on how hard you sleep. In addition, each alarm can be set as a snooze. I'm currently using the GD 350 now with a vibrating alarm and I have it set to Snooze and I always wake up. Hope this helped you.

Bro I just got the new instinct 3. I’ll do a video about it. Same experience as you.

Watch fan?!
@TechAdventure1 yes,,,TECH FAN tooo!!
Could you share your experience with the vibrating alarm is it strong enough to wake you up?
I’m not comfortable sleeping with a watch on but I’ll try! The vibration is good enough while I’m awake to alert me of notifications FWIW.

Would it be too big for a 6 inch wrist?
I don’t think so
20 bar is 200 metres water resistant.
Thank you
20 meters 🤣
🤣 I don’t know bro!
@@TechAdventure1 20 bars = 200 mt
