"130k dollars" i almost had a heart attack just hearing that thank god your insurance will help, if you "only" have to pay 2k it's a lot more fine. Happy to see you're doing good now
@@andrewreynolds912yeah here in Colorado one of our biggest hospital networks has been catching heat from the public and the state due to being immensely sue happy and by ignoring hidden fees laws. It's insane that we just allow this shit. And shit, insurance companies playing Doctor like a little kid gets real annoying, real quickly. I had insurance at one point that refused to cover the single ADHD medication that myself and my doctor knew worked until I had literally tried EVERY SINGLE OTHER ADHD MEDICATION IN EXISTENCE! It was fucking 30 of them! Turns out I'm allergic to two of them! After 1.5 years of trying different meds I tried to get them to cover the ones that actually work and they said that due to it being so long since I tried the first couple, I needed to go on them again "just to be sure." No idea what my doctor did (all he said after that was "I'm going to contact legal and let them deal with this") but that insurance ended up calling me about a week later saying that they'd cover 50 percent of the medication that worked.
@@marcusborderlands6177 to my understanding that 130K isn't "real" basically either your insurance will pay it or if you cant pay it a largeeee portion (like maybe 110k) will be written off as a loss on the hospitals taxes. the surgery "costs" that much only so the hospital can write it off as a loss and pay less in taxes (losses count against how much tax you owe) and the person never pays anywhere close to these ridiculous numbers you hear. its def still money $2000 can even be alot, but no one in the country is paying 130k for anything out of pocket.
@@andrewreynolds912 No it really isn't so long as you don't blindly pay any bill handed to you, and do what insurance companies do and negotiate. Oh, and considering how places like Canada have been pushing MAID to get around the high costs of funding a healthcare system, and many countries with it are only able to do so because the US pays the absolute lion's share in defense budget, we really shouldn't push it all onto taxpayers, especially when it'd mean longer wait times as we see in the NHS.

Massive kudos to your dad. It takes a lot of mental strength to willingly go through with that. I'm thankful that things are looking up for you :) Also insert lighthearted war thunder reference: congrats on researching Parts in real life
I was also on tacrolimus after a bone marrow transplant. Had a similar experience going back to the hospital twice per week, then it went to once per week and now I'm at about one year post transplant. I don't remember the tac really messing with me too much, shocked to hear it caused a seizure. I feel like I remember the docs saying that was a side effect (which made me worry), but I can't recall for sure. It's interesting to me how the same meds can have a different effect on each person. All that said, glad to hear everything is going well! I don't really play WT anymore but really enjoy your stuff. Keep it up man!
So glad you are fine I have been watching you since before you had like 50k subs and I have seen almost every video you have posted as it came out. So thank you for not dieing and making videos you are a real one Spook. Best wishes from Germany and hopefully your kidney never goes bad again and FUCK WENDYS!
Redwall Abbey explains a lot now that you point it out. That was my favorite book series growing up as well. As for the National Army Armor & Cavalry Museum down in Georgia, it's quite easy to get in during their open houses. They put out very clear and concise info so that you can get on base and to the museum for everyone every time an open house comes up. I've been down there with a couple of friends and very much worth the visit. Just make sure you get there early/right as it opens as it people show up in droves, if you want to get nice photos and/or photos with the vehicles.

About the bottle question, there are physics about how the contents of a aluminium can compared to glass bottles. Glass is the only inert material that we use to contain our drinks, this means that drinks coming from an aluminium can will taste different from ones from glass bottles. The reason we use aluminium cans instead of glass ones most of the time is that they are a lot cheaper to transport and produce

I'm having surgery on wednesday to hopefully allow me to breathe through my nose for the first time in my life. Glad to hear your surgery went well, in my own personal life I know of three people (and two dogs) having surgery all in this month. The surgeries are of various seriousness, oddly enough the person I know who is getting cancer surgery on the kidney is probably the least serious. Never had anything serious done on me, other than when I almost died as a baby. Kind of nervous, but I'm glad that you're back to suffer for our entertainment. Will be watching during the recovery.
I am so happy for you and your family that the surgery was a success. I really hope the aftercare that comes after is as smooth as possible. As a type 1 diabetic (have been for 26 years now, got it when I was 8) I worry that diabetes is something that could occur for you. I am not a religious man, but I will keep you in my thoughts and hope this does not befall you. Please take care of yourself, can't wait to see the new and improved spookston :)
I'm happy that it sounds like the finances of the whole ordeal are manageable. I was really worried this was going to put you in a lot of debt. And of course, I'm very glad the surgery went well. Frankly, I was quite upset when this whole thing started because you have always been one of my favorite channels. I hopped on the train back when you posted the "everything wrong with Halo's scorpion tank" video and have been consistently entertained ever since. And I don't know how you'll take this, but your channel was a big help in making me feel better about being a furry. I used to have a lot of self-hatred about the whole thing, but just seeing your profile picture and the occasional art for thumbnails connected to "regular" stuff I've always been a fan of helped me normalize the whole thing in my head. I know you're not really a furry quote-on-quote (atleast I think that's what you said), but your channel helped me a lot nonetheless. Here's to more happy years of cool tank stuff! I'm excited to see more historical and analytical videos :)
I'm expecting 50 kill games now. Minimum. NO EXCUSES😂 Edit: Before someone overreacts, of course I'm happy he's doing good. Humor helped me through a lot in my life.

After 1.5 years of trying different meds I tried to get them to cover the ones that actually work and they said that due to it being so long since I tried the first couple, I needed to go on them again "just to be sure."
No idea what my doctor did (all he said after that was "I'm going to contact legal and let them deal with this") but that insurance ended up calling me about a week later saying that they'd cover 50 percent of the medication that worked.
Hey, Spooks. Just want you to know that you've helped me improve in War Thunder by miles over the last few months I've been watching you, and also helped find my favourite tanks ingame.
All I wanna say is thank you for your work..
and I'm also hoping to see that Pz.IV (H) video. (Attempt 46).
Glad to see you doing better. Wish u swift recovery
Hey Spook, great to hear the operation went well!
Long time viewer and had to leave a comment when you mentioned wanting to visit the US Armored and Cavalry Collection in Georgia. I work with them as a volunteer and can help you out with dates they're planning to be open to the public for 2025 if you’re seriously looking to plan a trip.
I'm really happy that you're doing much better! I've been watching this channel grow for over 1.5 years and you've became my favourite youtuber to watch, I love your content and editing, it's perfect for me and I want to stay and watch this channel grow even more!
Massive kudos to your dad. It takes a lot of mental strength to willingly go through with that. I'm thankful that things are looking up for you :)
Also insert lighthearted war thunder reference: congrats on researching Parts in real life
researching parts irl has me dead
Let’s go dude. One of the most W UA-camrs basically cheating death and proceeding to make a Q&A. I love you man!
Bless you Spookston im glad your still here to give joy to everyone who loves your channel I hope your recovery is just as successful and smooth 👍
0:15 false, you're an AI
You are Right
congratulations! i wish you the best as without you i would have never found war thunder! best of luck!
I am sorry for your loss :((
Glad to see you recovering well Mr. Spookizzle ❤
So glad you are fine I have been watching you since before you had like 50k subs and I have seen almost every video you have posted as it came out. Your videos made me a lot better at War Thunder and make my day everytime I see them in my notifications (currently watching this instead of going to sleep). So thank you for not dieing and making videos you are a real one Spook. Best wishes from Germany and hopefully your kidney never goes bad again and FUCK WENDYS!
LETS GOOO! you rock man love your work and you seem chill so subbing was an easy choice. hope your health continues to get better

Huge
insane detail existor
was looking for someone to point this out, man i was losing my shit trying to figure out where it came from!
that discord sound at 5:00 confused me so hard. good to hear you´re still alive my man
Redwall Abbey explains a lot now that you point it out.
Happy you are still living. I just had my appendix removed a few weeks ago. The pain was excruciating before the mountain of painkillers and staying in a hospital overnight for a couple days was kinda uncomfortable. I can't even begin to imagine the discomfort amd pain you constantly go through.
I'm thankful you're alive

Spook, not sure what is worse. You having to do surgery or having to live and continue to get bullied by CAS in Warthunder. All memes aside, I'm happy to see you doing well. I'm always excited to see a video you upload to YT.
Hey man, glad to hear the operation went well and you're doing better. I hope you continue to do so and that the new kidney will work smoothly for the longest possible time.
Also this was a nice and chill video, these Q&As are really relaxing to watch and it's nice to get to know you better :)
It is amazing to hear that you got the kidney, and it is a blessing, we all love you and just hope and pray we can keep having an amazing creator around. Please pray for my grandpa on dialysis, he hasn't got a kidney and he lost is wife a month or two ago. He said he is just about ready to pass, but I want to keep hoping he can get a kidney. Don't want to lose another legend like you, keep running strong brother.
Glad you're doing good man.
btw. when Archer?
He did the archer a year ago and it was painful
he has done it already
@@BasedGrandmasKitchen I know, I also requested it back then, he shall do it again.

have been watching your content and following your journey with health for a while. you are an amazing content creator and revitalised my passion for the game and made playing it fun again. very grateful you are still with us, and if its ok with you i would be very happy to pray for your continued good health
Happy to hear! Greetings from Wisconsin! What do you think about the F-117 Nighthawk's implementation in the game and how its only a squadron vehicle?
Also day 7 of asking for the M163. It's so fun to watch CAS undergo rapid unscheduled disassembly.
I wish they would give it sidewinders even though it only mounted them very experimentally. Because it would be funny.

Obviously can’t just skip over the 32 kill game the day after. It’s astonishing the amount of difference a new kidney makes.
He said in this video he got it pretty donation
Really glad your surgery went well. You are my favorite war thunder youtuber and I think you have the best commentary. One vehicle I highly recommend you play is the Ikv 72. Fast, small, and with a nuke APHE shell , a 75mm gun, and 20 degrees of gun depression all at BR 1.7 make it like the Sturer Emil if it was a rat.
Glad to hear you're doing well. Love your videos man. Keep it up
I hope you'll get better and be on great health and stay the same grumpy sounding guy. Great to hear that you able to recover from your CKD.
I am so happy you lived. you are my favorite WT content creator and I don't know what i would do without you. Keep up the great work and don't strain yourself
Spookie you're my fav war thunder content creator man love it :D Greets from Poland!!
Aluminum soda cans have a very thin plastic liner on the inside
Not to be pedantic, but glass isnt a metal.
@@rokmvahtar I meant to say “material” 💀💀
I’m glad your alright spooks :) your my favorite UA-camr for one, but second off, I’ve been watching for basically forever, across several YT accounts, but I believe I found the “M3 Is all you Need” video like a week after upload, and that was the start lmao-
I love the content, and I’m just glad to see your fine, honestly idk what I’d watch without ya, so I really appreciate you and your content :)
Man spook brother I hope you continue to do well with your recovery and everything etc. still pretty nice to watch someone with actual skill play this game
Congrats on the new kidney🎉🎉 Day 150 You should play a tank with hydropneumatic suspension (recommend the MBT-70) But the catch is you have to drop the suspension as low as it can go for the whole match.
Or an even harder challenge: use a russian t-72 based vehicle but you can only drive in reverse 😂
Fuckin loved the Redwall series as a kid. Had access to all of them in middle school. That and the inheritance cycle
Redwall is the shite, plus they had a cartoon which I saw some of. Eulilia!
@RezaQin Man I forgot they had a cartoon for it. I remember seeing something about it, but never watched it
Those two series were great, I read all of the inheritance cycle twice and as many of the Redwall books as I could in middle school.
get well soon!

You thought I forgot, but I did in fact not:
Please play the Sturmtiger covered excessively in bushes.
