Now I commented on part one but I have this very same cpu but the m8300f I would assume these are identical mother boards I was given the cpu along with a few other models system max tell dimension 310e etc. I would like to beef them up like this for resale to make a few bucks and for the fun of wasting my time instead of watching tv. How much where the upgrades
Just got that case, I am so going to use that fan combo so I can have 2 fans in front. Still on the fence about if I should rip out the drive cage so I can fit a longer gpu.
Remember to install the inside fan first, then the outside fan. There is room to mount a 2.5" drive on the back wall if you're not using an M.2 drive, so I say go for it. The rivets are pretty easy to drill out.
hi i have a similar model (m8000n). have already installed an ssd to boot win10 and put hdd as secondary. i believe i maxed out the ram as well. could you recommend a basic inexpensive gpu? also my cpu fan makes a ton of noise like a jet engine, do you think it needs to be changed, or its another issue?
Yes, change the fan. As for GPU, hell you could put an RTX 2080Ti in that bad boy if you want but you'll start seeing bottlenecking in the CPU. I'd look for something like a GTX 960, or 1060, possibly even a 1650 Super. On the AMD side, something like an RX 570 or 580 would also pair up nice. What I would do, is take a look at this hierarchy list, scroll down to the RX590 and start there and work your way down till you find something you'd think is worthwhile and in your budget: www.tomshardware.com/reviews/gpu-hierarchy,4388.html I'd look on the used market as this board really isn't worth spending alot of money on.
