Hi, im working on customers fiesta with the same climatronic system. I found this motor with broken screw holes, bought another one and noticed that everytime I set on LOW temp settings flap goes down a little bit more every time. Changed clima unit - the same. Did you have this issue?
Unlike the exact same type of Heat Flap Actuator ( Visteon vp1s7h-19e616-bb ) which is located behind the glove box, this one is really difficult to access. In the end, I used a 10mm Drill Bit to make a hole through the plastic directly in line with the screw. That way I was able to access the screw head with a torx driver easily. ..Obviously not ideal, but it worked well. :-)
Yeah I have the same question, looks like you either have to pull the dash out or remove the foot/knee airbag to allow some movement and then bend the f&$% out of the side panel to fit your hand in and unscrew. Any updates/tips since you asked the question ? Thanks
@@user-uu4qw3pr1r way easier than that. Stupid easy location for UK cars. Hard to explain but here is a video that shows it ua-cam.com/video/zHvNcDoSO9Y/v-deo.html If that link doesn’t work video title to search is “Ford fiesta only hot or only cold air found” I used a torx drill bit and an adjustable spanner to get it out
FORD FIESTA MK7 HEATER FLAP ACTUATOR 1S7H-19E616-BB 2008 - 2012 ( The part is labelled as "Visteon vp1s7h-19e616-bb"). Note: this is a Heat Flap Actuator, which is different to a Blend Door Actuator apparently ..not that I can find a blend door actuator anywhere in my UK RHD 2011 Fiesta despite hours of looking 😞
