@@01aabidabdullatheefkp5 I suspect it was something as simple as forgetting to turn on the launch control. The process tends to be quite involved because you really don't want to deliberately compress the front suspension unless you are launching the machine. The electronics for GP bikes are not only incredibly complex, they are also not much more than one offs, so the possibility of something unexpected happening is potentially much higher than in a production machine. The electronics for GP bikes are not only incredibly complex, they are also not much more than one offs, so the possibility of something unexpected happening is potentially much higher than in a production machine.
I know that KTM's street bikes have a reputation for electronic glitches, but I don't think that this is related, it's just GP bikes being right on the cutting edge.
you are the best drag race channel ever created . im so entertained when i see these kind of races . Keep up the good work !
like fr, the best as always
The force with which the bike passed and pulled away is insane.
The 2 videos with Dani are among the best videos on the channel! He's such a great guy!
Pedrosa is one of my all time favourite Moto gp rider...what a gentleman...😍😍😍😍
yeah sure he is, very humble and calm
@@Chris-fo8vs Lanzhu Zhong has similarly calm personality like Pedrosa.
@@purwantiallan5089 Zhong was in this race too?
@@Chris-fo8vs yep. Only few minutes after this drag race video from Carwow was finished. Lanzhu rode Pedrosa's KTM whilst Pedrosa tried out the Lambo Aventador.
Lovely to see Dani still so appassionate about bikes and you can see how lovely he is doing this. Hope to see more drag races like this featuring Dani of course!
That v4 sounds so brutal! Amazing stuff!
OMG... That bike looks like it has a rocket engine strapped at the back of it, just by the way it overtook a 1100hp Lambo... Matt, I guess it's time to bring in a 2000hp tuned GTR or the Rimac
or this ua-cam.com/video/MRj10HFPWXo/v-deo.html
Or Alex chois lamborghini huracan with full power because that huracan can put out 1700hp I think so but the bike is actually a beast and legend dani himself
@@muhammadusmanamjad6927 😂😂😂 Sorry This Moto GP bike is faster than Rimac Nevera too
You need 2000 HP GTR
2015 Ducati GP did 0-300 kph in 9 seconds
Rimac Nevera only reached 375 kmph in 9 seconds
And Moto GP bikes can do 0-100 kph in 2.2 seconds and 0-200 kph in 4.5 seconds
Rimac Nevera does 0-100 kph in 2.2 seconds 0-200 kph in 5.3 seconds
A Moto GP bike with holeshot launch control will destroy Rimac Nevera at 1/4 mile
Those Moto GP bikes are capable of running 1/4 mile in 8.2 seconds even high 7 seconds with perfect launch
Rimac 8.6 seconds @270 kph
2017 F1 1/4 mile 8.5 seconds @280 kmph
Love to see the motorcycle vs car stuff! Awesome race and a great rider :)
Bring your Ducati, mate 🔥
How’s khalittle?
@@keshavgupta1371 much better lol
@bro bring the R1M
Pedrosa! Ok, the emergency stop...WOW! I would have expected it to be way more bias to the Lambo. Those MOTO GP bikes are no joke, they are the highest engineered bikes in racing and it shows. Dani needs to come back for more, that guy is amazing. Thanks Matt for bringing this and Carwow as well, make this its own series.
it's prototype bike again stock cars. the real deal is f1 vs motogp
PLEASE do more with Dani. I literally can't get enough of him.
I love seeing how quick to motogp bike is once it doesn't have major traction issues. It surprises me despite watching a lot of motogp.
That's because they're all fast so we see it's normal. Now that it against a really fast car, we know how fast those bikes 🏍 are.
@@MrVuTran true. It's all about relativity.
Awesome! You should include 60-130 mph or 100-200 kmh data on the rolling races. They are very popular metrics used by most all racers.
Yeah, just flash them in a corner for 2 seconds, would be enough. And the trap speed on the 1/4 mile!
Yes, I agree. The 100-200 would be stupid fast on the KTM.
Sorry they don't use VBOX or any measuring device in their drag races or rolling races 😹😹😹😹
Funny fact is this Lambo ran 1/4 mile in 9.4 seconds Moto GP 8.9
Moto GP 100-200 km/h 2.2 seconds 100-300 km/h 5.0 seconds 0-300 km/h 7.5 seconds
LOL Carwow doesn't uses vbox in drag racing
Also the Moto GP bike hits 100-200 km/h in 2.2 seconds
60-130 mph 2.3 seconds or 2.4 seconds
They are so much faster they will beat anything in roll race
They will gap Rimac Nevera in rolling race
I remember seeing Pedrosa on the top 5 of every GP grid Sunday mornings. Great guy, excellent rider.
Super Dani welcome to Moto GP, thanks for this video
Fan from Germany near Sachsenring.
I haven't paid attention to motorcycle racing since the days of Kenny Roberts and Freddie Spencer with MotoGP a mystery to me. But just watching the humble demeanor, incredible talent, and smile on this MotoGP racer has made me an instant fan.
I'm the same but with Barry Sheene. It was back on here on the BBC for Rossi's peak years so delighted to see those. Lost interest again as it went behind pay wall. Freddie had so much talent but we saw so little of it. One of racings mysteries. And yes, Dani is a great guy.
Never stood a chance! 😄 Insane performance from KTM and amazing skill from Dani!
I literally thought I was rewatching the first MotoGP race you uploaded. More of these will be great, its nice to see Dani Pedrosa holding up well!
It’s the brake test that’s the most impressive for me! No average Joe could stop a bike like that….
More Danny tests please🙏
It's not just the bike, you really need a rider like DP to complete the winning combination.
I appreciate how much effort you put into these videos! Love the videos Mat!
How does carwow bring in a legend in such a casual way is mind blowing
Tbf he is a Wild Card for KTM right now so he can only race in Spain GPs
Dani is the man! Had the pleasure of watching him take victory in the infamous 2015 Sepang race!
We really need to see that bike against an F1 car!
Pretty sure that’s been done
F1 is different gravy though
In the race they had the RB F1 car against the Chrion, the F1 car got a 9.2 for the quarter mile, so it should just beat the bike.
@@SpottedCreeper there was a race with Marquez against an F1 car on the launch the car was dropped like a stone, it wasn't until the corners could the F1 catch up and overtake, which was to be expected as nothing corners like and F1 car.
There is the Red Bull challenge, where they had a Kawasaki H2R (I think), a jet, F1 car, rally car and a couple others, I cannot remember if the bike or Jet won but it did beat the F1 car.
At last, someone who can ride a motorcycle! More with Dani please, or any decent pro rider.
MotoGP riders are simply phenomenal at what they do! Superb feel, amazing skills.
Grande Dani!!! Gracias por colaborar en el canal..!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👍🏻 great video
I've been a motogp fan for two years now, and its kind of hard to get a sense of the speeds they do on tv. But this "real world" scenario just shows how mental these things are!
Drag Race a bit underwhelming though, 9.4sec you can achieve in a Tesla... a Rimac would smash that, but yes in a roll race with use of full power it's like a catapult.
That bike reached 362.4 kph last year at Mugello, with rolling stance at 80 kph with only a kilometer to accelerate. Insane.
@@1010thechamp For a machine that's not built to drag race, its pretty quick.
@@1010thechamp Underwhelming? The Plaid is literally the utmost fastest non-hyper on the planet to the 1/4 mile. Yet the Bike was gaining crazy speed near end of 1/4 mile. Tesla can win 1/4 mile, but 1/2 mile? Or roll? No chance. Tesla will be ahead until it hits speed limiter. Then bike flies away. To beat bike you need maybe UGR Lambo or something totally ridicilous.
A real fan doesn't watch motogp on TV! 🤣
As a rider, I wholeheartedly clenched my cheeks at that stop from 100 😂😂
Loving this car vs bike trend. I would also love a bike vs bike drag, carwow style. Matt riding on two wheels lol. 😂
It would be the last Carwow video. Lol
Huge respect for that braking without ABS
Even pedrosa was praying the bike doesnt wobble
I think braking the GP is the most impressive thing!! Skill in spades!!!
8:05 , that bike brake so damn good without ABS!
Dani Pedrosa he remains not only one of the greatest drivers of all time but also a fantastic person - a legend
A myth? Presume you mean a legend.
He also means rider.
Much respect for this crazy good Dani!
So, SO great to see Dani ripping on that 2021 MotoGP bike. Makes you wonder what would have happened if Ducati brought their Bologna bullets instead.
Was about to make this comment. KTM found some power for '22 season, but Ducati are still the true rocket ships of MotoGP
that bike went past like the TT Huracan was a corsa 😂😂
Agreed. The Rimac Nevera would be needed to beat the bike
I’d be perfectly happy watching that MotoGP bike race everything under the sun
These drag races are lots of fun, but I would love to see a similar contest on a more extended track race.
Dude knows how to drive a bike probably the best driver I've seen on this channel
You mean ride, and yeah it's no surprise at all coming from a 3 time world champion despite not winning in the main class motogp, Dani is still insanely talented.
Hey Mat!
It would be awesome to see the trap speed in the races as it sometimes tells more about the acceleration than pure finishing times!
Also be sure to invite Dani Pedrosa more times in the future, these bike videos are the best!!!
Yes do wonder what the MotoGP bike is trapping, probably somewhere between 165mph-170mph.
@@1010thechamp yeah that would be about right. Al on a proper surface, instead of horrible concrete runway that bike would dip into the high 8s.

That just put into perspective how fast those Moto GP bikes are. I've seen enough videos of those 1100hp Lambos to know they beat most litre road bikes

Must be Matts driving talent.
Remove the ABS from the car...
because bikes can stop just as fast as cars from the same speed. you see other people say on track they have to break much earlier, well thats because they are hitting those corners faster
It(the bike) weighs less so it needs less room to stop. Unless the Huracan has Chiron breaks cars will always lose in braking.
@@psttech4290 that’s just not true due to physics of friction and traction. And the race cars on slicks stop three time faster than race bikes

Yeah the natural reaction there would be to put both legs out and lean over the tank and probably get buckarood.
