I like Stoney beaches mr. Grimm. It doesn't always have to be sand. I don't know about the southern end of California but the Northern end where I was from we had Stone beaches also one I used to go to a lot as a child was Agate Beach in Northern California a nice Stoney Beach. I wonder if the orange box thing was an old RNLI pager that's been dropped. Most of their gear is orange so it can be easily seen. Just a thought! 🤔 Thanks for the tips hoping to go beach detecting soon with the Simplex.
Great advice. Had lots of chatter on Beach mode so went All Metal and cranked discrimination right down and she worked a treat.
