I tried Clairns in raspberry and didn’t like it at all. Primarily the smell, it was way too strong. Artificial raspberry almost makes me feel sick and gave me a headache. I never felt like that with a product before. I also noticed it was very thin and more like a dry oil than a nice feeling slippery oil, if that makes sense. I know my opinion is in the minority though but if you’re sensitive to smells avoid the raspberry. I didn’t smell the others as I returned and didn’t get another.
I've got it (Clarins) in Plum and love it. The first time i didn't like the taste/smell- i think it's probably v similar to raspberry. But now i love it. It also has the best wand. One of my favorite lip oil formulas is actually Kylie's!
I would love to see a showdown like this for blushes. Like for liquid vs powders and different color comparisons. I have an oily skin type and I'm fair so I'm never quite sure what formula would be the most user friendly for me.
Watch Nikki La Rose's channel. She's an amazing makeup artist and she does showdown videos whereby, for example, she bought every blush that Sephora sells and tested them against each other. There was a winner at the end. She's also done it with bronzers and now foundations -testing every one that sephora sells.
I love this! I would love to see something like this for foundation. The ingredient differences between dewy/natural/matte formulas, and why different foundations in those categories work better for different skin would be SUCH good content to learn from.
This is so accurate. I own and love the rare beauty and Haus labs oils and my fave hands down is the rare beauty because of the shade options. I love the stain colors.
Love how she mentioned “which has the least opacity.” Everyone usually reviews the most opaque, but I want sheer color, just a hint of tint. ❤I love that they covered everything.
found you both through beautyful and bothered I've lost out on your knowledge and the brilliant way you explain teach things a wealth of information thankyou for what you bring to your youtube subscribers 🎉xx
Love this video. Alexis thank you for your love of make-up. I absolutely love how you explain things. I am new to your channel, I am so glad I found you.
I didn’t think I cared about this, thought I was over hearing about lip oil-turns out I was wrong. As usual I needed your expert opinion and point of view to break down which to choose. The way you say if your prefer this or that go with this along the way is super helpful. You guys are the best 🙌
Love the showdowns. Did i miss foundation one I seen the concealer showdown if you haven't would love to see foundation showdowns from the tints up to full coverage thanks love from the UK 🇬🇧
I have to check if we posted all and if not we will do! We def have foundations around the time of Halloween. We have a few we’ve done but we were late to UA-cam!
I’ve collected all the NYX fat oils. And then they came out with the fat oil sticks? Those are kinda ehhhh. But I bought all the colors I could at Walgreens when I saw them. Was disappointed on those. Anyways my favorite Fat Oil shade is Missed Call. ❤️❤️❤️ Never tried the more expensive ones🤷🏻♀️
I feel like Clarins is the perfect middle ground between the Dior and the Haus Labs. Clarins is thicker than the PhD but not sticky/stingy like the Dior💯
Love the compilation! Thank you for putting it together. What do you recommend for lip products not sinking into creases? Most of the time I'm trying to keep my lips from chapping but when it's not too dry ultimately I have very crinkly lips
Please include Gurlain and Clarins . I love the packaging and the formula. I believe they are better than any here. I love strong fragrance in my products.
What ingredients should I look out for that cause irritation on my lips? I started using lip oils (multiple brands and colours) and my lips broke out, I can’t get them back to normal and I can’t figure out which one did it 🤔 I also notice a difference in the different shades elf has, the more opaque ones are more moisturizing while the clear ones just might be the ones that broke me out
CLARINS Lip oil is my favorite lol! Flavor and feels amazing and my lips have never been softer and stay plump … never tried any of those Honey is my favorite and Chocolate not crazy about the ph adjusting pink shade for me 🤍🤍🤍🤍 thanks!!!! Super interesting
Team Dior here, on the cheaper side Kaja Juicy Glass Oil or in the medium price Sigma Lip Oil (wait for the 75% discount around xmas). For lip stain Oil Romand. Rare beauty one I had to declutter like in 4-5 days and it destroyed my lips by giving uneven stain and drying my lips to the maximum (and yes I scrub a nurrish my lips) so not even going to pass it to my daughter because for me is NOT a good lip tint Oil. I tried so many and the only one being even is the Romand Juicy Lasting Tint. But of course I will try the Haus Labs one just to see the performance. Being 60 yo I not only look into hydration but I want those lip oils to make lip lines totally dissappear and the only ones that give me that are the Dior ones with Sigma lip oil on second place. Let's see when Sephora.es will give us the 30% weekend and I will try the House Labs 😊
Team Clarins here. The shimmer lip oil especially in the raspberry shade is simply perfection. The luxury packaging is the cherry on top.
I’m surprised it wasn’t in this video
Yeah we couldn’t get clarins in time when we did that video but we did have an encore with clarins!
I tried the clarinet and love it. I have pitaya.

@@eatmyoctopusshe’s great
One of those stain type liquid blushes like the good old benetint then powder blush layered on top.
The halftime rock out was awesome 😊
Haha thank you!!

Yes i agree. We need more education as to how the differentskin types need different ingrediants
This is so accurate. I own and love the rare beauty and Haus labs oils and my fave hands down is the rare beauty because of the shade options. I love the stain colors.
I love how you get deep into the ingredients & what they do etc. I don't even wear make up, but i love watching you both ❤
I can’t do lip oils for public wear because I would have little lip oil tributaries all around my mouth, but I’m here for the colorful eyeliner!
I loooooooove these so much! You are a treasure!!!
Thank you so much!!
Love how she mentioned “which has the least opacity.” Everyone usually reviews the most opaque, but I want sheer color, just a hint of tint. ❤I love that they covered everything.
NYX is my favorite hands down!
LOVE these showdowns! More, please!!!!
Thank you!!!!! For doing a super informative comparison deep dive 💄 now I know what to try next!!!
Clarins lip oil is unmatched IMO. and it smells so so so good. I do love Fat Oil too tho.
i love you girls educating us and i knew haus labs would win
Please try the Rodial lip oil.
It is the best of them all.
Astonishing, Luxurious!
Nothing like it
found you both through beautyful and bothered I've lost out on your knowledge and the brilliant way you explain teach things a wealth of information thankyou for what you bring to your youtube subscribers 🎉xx
Same, same!
Yay for octyldodecanol! One of my favourite ingredients. 😊
You answered all of my questions based in the research you gave us. TY
Love this video. Alexis thank you for your love of make-up. I absolutely love how you explain things. I am new to your channel, I am so glad I found you.
I love you girls! Thanks for another great video!
Thanks for watching! Always be vocal about what you want to see here 💗
@@thelipsticklesbians I would love a blush video, including the new rare beauty blushes

I absolutely love Haus Labs lip oil, I am addicted ❤
The guerlain kisskiss bee glow lip oil feels incredible on the lip and it lasts. I got the one in lavender and I adore it😊
I liked the elf lip oil 😮
Great video! Love House Labs and Clarins!
I really like the Rare Beauty one💜
because it’s also a strong stain!💯
Dude, no wonder I didn't like the NYX Fat Oil - I'm allergic to mineral oil. 🤦🏼♀️
This was a no brainer I knew who was going to win 🥇
Love the showdowns. Did i miss foundation one I seen the concealer showdown if you haven't would love to see foundation showdowns from the tints up to full coverage thanks love from the UK 🇬🇧

I’ve never really tried the Dior but I💜
have the Clarins Lip Oil & it’s good 💯
Elf lip oil is really nice also and affordable.
This is the best video I’ve ever seen. Does she do this with all products? I’m subscribing and hope for more showdowns.
We did a lot more and have to get back into it!
Ok.. you gotta dress up as a cheerleader and present this! lol! Or maybe one of the ring girls in the boxing matches.. not sure what they’re called.
😂 something like this right!
No Elf?!?!
I love the NYX Fat Oil.

The first two were not lip oils. They can label them as such but they are not lip oils. More like lip color with very slight sheen.
Technically the rom&nd is not a lip oil but a stain, however the rare is most like that one due to formula!
I feel like Clarins is the perfect middle ground between the Dior and the Haus Labs. Clarins is thicker than the PhD but not sticky/stingy like the Dior💯
I have Milani Fruit Fetish lip oil that I absolutely love.
Love the compilation! Thank you for putting it together. What do you recommend for lip products not sinking into creases? Most of the time I'm trying to keep my lips from chapping but when it's not too dry ultimately I have very crinkly lips

Tell me what yous think of mco Beauty it’s an Australia 🇦🇺 brand that just launched in the USA 🇺🇸
Team Haus Labs!
I want to know where to Colourpop lip oils fit in here. They are by far my favorite!
Just got the Kosas in " unbuttoned" ❤💜💜💜💜💜it
I wanted to see the Guerlain oil tested, everyone I see says it is the best.
The rare beauty one makes my lips so dry
Rom&nd is pronounced as 1 word. The & simply stands in for an a. The o is pronounced like the o in Rome.
Team Ilia…please review them!
I HATE the stringing effect. What ingredient causes the stringy crap?
do you ever review jeffree star cosmetics .

Merit #1 (Marakesh & Pink Beet) Rare #2 (Hope & Honesty). Others are too thick n goopy.
I can skip the NYX with that scent profile, migraine city.
Rom&nd❤
I find that the Merit bleeds after a while.
Gah! I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHAT IS THE BIG DEAL WITH SO CALLED LIP OIL. IT'S NO BETTER THAN LIP GLOSS!
I don't get lip oils. There is lip glosses or lipsticks or liquid lipsticks. Lip oil to me is like putting oil from the kitchen
I hate the nyx fat oil.
