Nice work! I need to do the gasket on my doors too. Ugh, realigning the door is a major pain. Pulling the front of the car off to pull the fender off to get to the door hinges is a lot of work. Good luck!! :)
It wasn't too bad to do after I got the process down. Definitely go slow with the adhesive! I'm able to realign the doors with the fenders on. You can buy a ratcheting open end. That's worked for me in the past but it is VERY tight.
This video will definitely come in handy for me soon
Glad to hear. You've been making great progress on your car!
This was a great tip and I think it's a place most people will overlook. In the end it'll save future headaches.
Thanks! That’s what I’m hoping. You learn so much after you do one. You really learn what not to do and what works.
@@SmackeysGarage and the basics behind this will work with any car or truck.
That is very true! The same adhesive will work anywhere for weatherstripping.
Saludos desde España. Nice!! I have a mach1 from 1971
Thanks! Awesome that you have one too!
@@SmackeysGarageyess I.m very lucky man!! 😊 I wish to know you if you come to. ANDALUCÍA IN Spain... you are invited!!!
I need to make some improvements to the mach1
Thanks for vidio ,I need to do on my 1970
No problem. It isn’t too bad. Just go slow and make sure you get the weatherstripping in the right place with your first shot.

Looks like a Black Jade. That’s what I’m painting my 70 Mach 1
It is and that’s a great color choice!
