And to think I spent my time as a kid picking up pop bottles for spare change. I should of scavenged car parts from abandoned cars left in the field. I could of waited 40 years and sold them at swap meets and retired a millionaire. If I had only known then what I know now. Thanks Tim.

A new full interior for a tri five installed is 4 to 5 thousand thats driving the vehicles to higher prices .Also the cost of automotive paint and chrome.Thats the reason for higher prices. A restoration about 2000 hrs @ a low ball one hundred an hour go figure it out.
As someone who has built a couple of these cars and currently owns one I can say these prices are out of control !! Anyone who would even THINK about paying 25k for a four door anything is so stupid it's a wonder they haven't forgotten to breathe !
People sure ask crazy money for stuff! I wonder how much of the stuff went back home with the same owners, probably a lot! I guess I'm showing my age but I bought project cars for a third or less of what they are asking!

Great swap meet, lotta interesting stuff, these prices I don't know about that, but anyway, love to find a 55 /210 front seat for my 66 C10 truck, love the trim on these seats, great video guys.
I love swap meets. I had a 1965 corvair 180 corsa turbo 'vert, looking for STUFF. Stafford speedway in Ct. Saw a cardboard box had corvair in magic marker on the side. 4 nos tail light lenses, 2 oil filters, used ignition cylinder, nos windshield molding. $10.00!! Ahhh, swap meets.
Those front clips of the 2 57's and the 56 and 55 chev, at the 2 minute mark, how sad to see the rest of the car was sacrificed just for these front clips. Yes, restored and painted and hanging in the Man Cave would look cool but if they were butchered just for their front ends and the rest of the car was tossed out = just so wrong. Anyway... A big shout out from Down under Australia.

There's a guy in Manitoba (Canada) who is converting 4 door cars into 2 doors. Right now he's taking a 57 Chevy 4 door and turning it into a 2 door convert. He's got a UA-cam Channel. DD Speed shop. Lots of work

I work in delivery service work with hundreds of 19-35 year olds not one is into old or hot rods sell your junk and run in 10-15 years this crap will be worthless
I've been to Millions swap meets, Bicycle related all the way to trucking related and some of these guys for what they want for there stuff is absolutely ridiculous and a lot of them guys they go buy somewhere else and then bring it out to a swap meet and bring the price up a 100% Just being real and honest

Many solid 4dr sedans , that 2dr is to far gone not worth the trouble, the easy way just remove the back door handles.
