Or just decompress the springs while installed in the car😂. That’s what I like to do
Disconnect the sway bar links and tie rods, support the control arm with a jack and then undo the top 24mm nut. Then you can lower the control arm and let the spring expand. I usually install lowering springs on my Volvo’s so I don’t need compressors for the installation process😁.
Great video for those using stock height springs. Very well explained and very safe

Nice video! Really helpful and also great that you show where to disconnect the ABS sensor.
I can recommend adding some engine oil (10w40, or other, doesn't matter) next to the strut insert, because it will guide the heat generated by the strut insert shock absorber to the outside of the strut, helping it with cooling and lasting longer, not fading its dampening effects when it becomes too hot on a bad road.
