Yes Lee, it's all about using you're experience and personal judgment when encountering such jobs. The tool you were using is called "A WEED GRUBER". I've used it on Lawns to get the tap rooted weeds out like dandelions, and plantains. Regards Jim from J.S.G.S🚛🌳
Dizzy Spliff yes I was 50 / 50 on cutting it and decided it left a little bit of interest . If we get the maintenance on it then we will get it sorted.👍
Nice job fellas, those borders that need hand and knees work are a nightmare. Know what you mean about pruning at the wrong time and causing harm but some people wont listen and in any case the customer is always right. Great job as usual, with you 100% on the dead hydrangea flowers. Never had a problem. Would have taken the pampas grass and flower spikes down too but that’s just me being picky! Hopefully she get you back on a more regular basis.

Hi Lee, did you know some hydrangeas flower off old growth and some off new. I had 2 one would flower and one wouldn't after pruning, decided to leave the one without pruning and came back with mass of mop heads.
good job lads.you approached it in exactly the same manner as myself.as you well know just be honest with the client & explain to have it tidy we need to break a few rules.& its the result of not having regular maintainance program. at the end of the day your just promoting healthy tidy growth.hope you get it regular so you can turn the lawn round etc.(nowt better) don't be misled by my channel name lol into my 17th year of self employed garden maintainance.used to put the odd vid on but not to keen for security reasons.(sorry so long winded) keep up the good work.
