If any soundtrack is underrated, it's the one for this game. The textures and rhythms are just so damn interesting. I love how it can be grimy and unsettling, but also catchy and energetic. People who write it off as noise aren't listening to it actively, so they don't catch the details that really make this music great. Also, this IS my favorite SoR game! I love how much tighter and aggressive the gameplay feels. Love your covers. I was hoping for some Dub Slash
@@greatBLT yeah I agree. As a musician I think there is depth to this album that requires a keener ear! And as a drummer, the rhythms are evil to play :) they were never intended for the human body haha
Once you have played SoR3 its difficult to play the others SoRs because while maybe being better in some regards their game mechanic is kinda shit compared to SoR3. Also SoR3 would have been a better much experience if it wasnt for the ridiculous western release which was just way too difficult. Too bad really. That game was ruined for no good reason.
Well, I consider SOR 3 to be on par with SOR 2 or just slightly, (and I stress slightly) just behind the behemoth SOR 2. Bare Knuckle III which was uncensored was superior to the American release. But my main issue with SOR 3 isn't even the music which I actually loved. It's the simple fact that it wasn't as new of an experience as SOR 2 was. SOR 2 was a quantum leap over the original with just about everything improved. While SOR 3's play mechanics are superior to SOR 2, I felt like the colors weren't as vibrant and it recycled the last boss hideout again with very few changes. Regardless, SOR 3 with it's futuristic soundtrack remains in my top 10 as a triumph to the mega drive.
Love the track choice, nice playing, keep it up 😉👍
