How is it that the people who make our equipment seem to have less of an understanding than your average regular keeper. So many problems with this setup. 10 gallon for multiple dragons, which can be okay for the first month or so, but not to much longer. Most say loose substrate is problematic especially for babies, i don't exactly agree with that. However the kind you have with the water bowl and you keep it somewhat wet is not good, to much humidity can cause respitory problems. The uvb is a compact which is okay for some reptiles, but beardies need relatively high amounts of uvb and those bulbs only work well if the dragon stays directly under it for moat of the day. Yours are not, they will choose the basking light everytime. Should have a tube uvb t8 or t5, covers much more surface area so no matter where they are they get it. Sure I could nit pick more, but if a new keeper saw this and replicated your set up thats not good.
Hi, we just got a baby beardy from petsmart on saturday (3 days ago) and he wont eat. Ive tried giving him carrots, crickets, making sure he is warm, putting him in a Tupperware to eat. Nothing works. What should I do?
SAND IS BAD FOR BEARDED DRAGONS! If you own one u notice they lick their environment. if they eat the sand it will cause stomach issues. yes yes I know they live in the desert but my dragon suffered constipation, from the sand, and when I got a carpet for her she started going normal.
Zandero Gaming I've owned five and use sand. Sand is naturally what bearded dragons live on in the wild. I don't use it for babies, but when they get around half a year I use it and I've never had an issue. Beardies lick less when they are older. I've never had an issue with compactions. I recommend either sand, not calcium sand, or some excavator that hardens into a hard, non-standy rock like ground.
can i use normal sand papper for my dragon to trim its nails i did get some but had to get rid and pets at home dont have any in so can i use normal sand papper
tristen kelley To be on the safe side, yes. Taking them outside when it becomes hot enough may not give them enough UV that they need to stay healthy, and having the UVB Bulb makes sure they are getting enough.
what in the fuck is up with this editing? I feel like I'm trippin balls with how jumpy the video is. If you can't say something in one full sentence without having to splice the video together how the hell did you get a job?

Rebecca Davis yeah

Its not bad its probaly the best option because it is bioactive and you could use it to plant stuff and keep things clean its more natural
