A controversial opinion, since she replaced the original voice actress, Janet Waldo, who had already recorded all her dialogue for the movie, and was only informed about her being replaced when the film got closer to the release date. Casting director Andrea Romano was so disappointed, she took her name off the credits.
The Jetsons movie was possibly the first movie that I was excited to see in the theater. I watched it again recently, and I have to say that the songs by Tiffany are definitely the best parts of the movie.
Tiffany definitely had a set of pipes on her! Her voice is dirty, bluesy, and just plain awesome. The guitars are great; this is definitely one from my childhood that I'll still jam out to. Heavy enough for a metalhead and rock n' roll fan to rock out to, but still has the pop sensibility. Definitely still dig this song after almost 30 years!
Loved this scene in The Jetson's. Part of the reason this song appeals to me so much is because it represents that amazing feeling of falling in love AFTER you've experienced heartbreak.
Damien G I don’t think it ever made it to any of her actual albums. Though it is on the jetsons movie soundtrack along with the other song, “I never thought id see you again”
They got the Jetson Movie on Netflix and now i'm here. I forgot how much I love this song when I was little. So happy I found it my 7 year old self is throwing a lit party over this lol.
I just had my kids watch The Jetsons Movie for the first time, they turned the family room into a dance hall. Love that they enjoyed it as much as I did!

I recently heard a song that remotely came close to the this song and immediately i went i got to look up the Jetson Movie soundtrack. Found the title of the song and now im here. Im 33 now, as a kid i just felt like i had to survive this song to watch the rest of the movie. Now as an adult. I have a deep appreciation for this balad. It hits so well in that late 80s early 90s music that has that distinction and feel that that era can provide.
@@austinpearce5442 I learned something new every day (I’m aware that Janet Waldo recorded dialog; didn’t know originally that Tiffany was going to be just the singing voice)
This is such a great song. Now, if only someone could upload the totally 90s explosion that is the music video for this song from the Jetsons Movie. It's like four minutes of literally every 90s aesthetic trope, and it's amazing.
Thank you to cheesy 80/90's animation for giving us some of the hardest rocking songs in history! Tiffany was basically the entire reason I was in love with Judy Jetson from age 5 to 10
Finally got the Jetstons soundtrack, and have been jamming out to this and the other two Tiffany songs on the the album for the last couple of hours. This soundtrack is going in my trophy case of music, because it is hard to find. If I ever find it missing, someone is in huge, apocalypic trouble.

Tiffany goes to that 80s club in Montclair ca and perform sum of her 80s hits !!! if u go get there early when she is singing cuz it gets packed when she duz
She has a great voice. Unfortunately, her career was short lived due to the fact that she came in way too late. Soon the 90's rolled around and that type of music she did wasn't so popular anymore. I still like her music though.
Why couldnt she change her style? No excuse. Madonna did with erotica, not her most successful but it kept her alive, Take a Bow (1994) was her longest 1 on the charts. Tiffany relied on old styles... which is why Michelle Branch is gone and Avril survived. Cyndi Lauper too. Backstreet Boys... nsync . But Justin change to fit 2003. Sorry the music industry is cut throat... adapt or out
Oh Lawd she wasn't allowed to, George Tobin had total control over everything she did, lets not forget that back in 1988 he was known as Mr 50%, he gave her a platform but too half of everything she earned. By the time Madonna changed style she was already under a different label, same as when George Michael left Sony, he left to gain control of his own career, Tiffany didn't have those choices to make.
Michael Prymula trouble is that by the time she released the 3rd album the music scene had changed dramatically. Nobody wanted AOR anymore, especially not Tiffany's sound, only die hard fans like myself and peeps here wanted that. Early 90s saw grunge and it killed a lot of what 80s music stood for, or even sounded like. Bands that had the option of moving did, Bon Jovi entered the cowboy song era which many fans hated. Skid Row, Scorpions and all the other AOR type bands of the late 80s early 90s soon faded away. Guns n Roses probably the few that survived the influx of grunge.
Reena Gibson "Cowboy song era?" What? If one could say they did "cowboy songs," they were in the 80s, not the 90s, and had nothing to do with grunge or anything like it. Their most popular cowboy song (again, if you choose to call it that) would most likely be "Wanted Dead or Alive," which came out in '86 on Slippery When Wet. After that, they had a song on the Young Guns soundtrack, "Blaze of Glory," which I guess could technically be "cowboy," since Young Guns was a cowboy movie. And they had "Stick to Your Guns," which is sort of cowboy-ish, in '88, on the New Jersey album. Nowhere near the 90s. Their first album in the 90s was Keep the Faith, nothing to do with Cowboys. 3 songs that are somewhat cowboy related (which was a big thing in the 80s, anyway) do not a "cowboy era" make. As far as Guns 'n' Roses, they didn't really "survive" grunge. They basically broke up. The next thing GBR released as a unit was pretty much Chinese Democracy, In *2009*. And that wasn't even what everyone thinks of as Guns 'n' Roses, it was Axl and a bunch of other guys (admittedly, one of the "other guys" was Buckethead, and he's an amazing guitarist). Slash was mainly doing side project stuff in the 90s. Were you even around then? Or are you just guessing?

The Jetsons movie was possibly the first movie that I was excited to see in the theater. I watched it again recently, and I have to say that the songs by Tiffany are definitely the best parts of the movie.
