- This is one of Tiffany's most beautiful songs. From the soundtrack album of the 1990 movie, "The Jetsons", in which Tiffany voiced Judy Jetson. A single was released of "I Always Thought I'd See You Again" in June 1990 on CD format (for the promo) and cassette, but it did not chart in Billboard. Written by George Tobin, Phil Coleman, Steve McClintock and Tim James. B-side is blank.

I cannot even tell you what this song does to me. It's not just that I grew up with Jetsons the movie.. but the entire chord progression, her voice, those early 90s electric guitar pop ballad solos. ugh. The bridge on this song gives me chills
The movie version was more chillingly catchy. It was played at a higher pitch.

I think I read somewhere that Tiffany said this was one of her favorite songs she has ever recorded.
Funny because she seems to not enjoy doing any songs from this era in her career

@@blucifer4865 And you know, it seems funny that Tiffany's original manager, George Tobin, co-wrote this song, especially considering he was AGAINST R&B (which is why he and Tiffany's business relationship fell apart in the first place).

She is still touring and came out with two new albums in the last year years. A Million Years had a new song I co-wrote with her called "TEARS". You will like it..

I grew up watching the Jetsons, and I loved the movie. Tiffany is very talented, and beautiful. She made this movie very memorable for me and I am still listening in 2020. Proud to grow up in the 80’s!

I listen this song since the love of my life died.
We separated one year before his passing, after 6 years together. And yes... We were talking during the pandemic and we told each other that we would see each other soon to talk about some stuff and recover a few things I left in his house. Two weeks later after our last chat, he wasn't in this world anymore.
I always thought I see him again.
Rest in peace MrB. You live in my memory, although I have to move on.

I can relate. I just lost a boyfriend this year when he died unexpectedly one night from heart failure and addiction to alcohol, 2 months earlier after we had been together for nearly 11 years. I wasn't in the room with him when he died. What he did was he thought he could drink vodka as a sleeping aid because he had trouble sleeping at night. And I guess his body finally got to a point where it just couldn't take it anymore. I wish I had been there with him because maybe I could have called for help, sooner and maybe he would still be here. I didn't know it was going to happen to him that night, and I always thought I'd see him again the next morning like I always would. And I don't know if anyone will ever love me again, like he did. RIP Jason 3/5/1982-8/17/2021.

Yeah, he makes a date with her then the jetsons have to move. Then when she calls home, her friends tell her that another girl took her date with him. What a jerk! If he really cared, he could've come there to take her on a date. She meets Apollo and they start a relationship. Then the Jetsons have to move back home but Apollo promises Judy that he'll come visit her. There's a gentleman for you.
Cosmic Cosmo is the one of the biggest jerks ever! He doesn't stay true to Judy. Apollo Blue is five time more better for Judy. I think that Apollo Blue is her one true love. Apollo is a real gentleman.
Alexander, I agree. If Cosmic Cosmo really cared about Judy, he would have still taken her out on a date. I never did like Cosmic Cosmo. Apollo Blue is a way better guy for Judy than that creep! While there wasn't a while lot to their relationship in the film, I do believe that Apollo does love Judy and care about her. He is a real gentleman to her. I like to believe that at the end of the film, Judy goes steady with him. Plus I do believe that after the events of the film, Apollo does come and visit her and that their relationship continues to develop and their love for each other continues to grow. In my headcanon for them, after a few years of going steady and realizing that he can't imagine life without her, Apollo asks Judy to marry him and she says yes! The two get married, have children together and become famous singers/song writers.

It brings back so many memories for me too and that's why I was so happy when I found it at Walmart for $5.00 (in store), they have it online for about $4 more. Still a pretty good deal for such a great movie and all the memories it comes with. :)

I think sometimes listening to this song, I feel so nostalgic, for what would have been possible if with the guys I've met and dealt with; At least with one of them I would have achieved something nice and sincere. However, it is clear that love in the end is for those of us who are simply not looking for it. We must have patience sooner or later, that prince charming will come to illuminate our lives and give us the perspective that love exists. Although I do admit that at times, I feel like Lucero Sonico. I would like to feel a sincere hug, of encouragement and shelter and that the pain that my chest feels for unfortunate people go away.
