After over thirty years of watching televised/online trials, my opinion of defense attorneys has gone from disdain, to realizing that they are just doing a very necessary job, whether I agree with them or not. Mr. Jackson is the first defense attorney that I am literally rooting for.

Agree re: Jackson and Yannetti. 💯 They're on top of everything in a very complicated case. Hope I never need a criminal atty anywhere, but these guys'd be my first call.
Also, I respect the career of defense attorneys - especially considering the uninformed opprobrium they get in nearly all criminal trials - at least on YT.
Tbh, I had no idea this many people are literally unaware of the Bill of Rights. Mercy.

The more innocent you are the more you need a defence legalise isn’t easy for most of us we do forget the burden is on the state to prove guilt through facts and evidence justice is supposed to be blind. Have no problem with ppl getting a defence you want the bad guys done correctly not just it’s them job done this case investigation lost all credibility for me just as a person interested in true crime. Look at the poor boy they ended up sending to a mental facility for 4 days after getting him to confess to a murder that wasn’t even committed his father just went to his gf home after a fight 😮suppose who watches the watchmen ?

I rooted for Scott Peterson (in Florida) attorney. But yeah...that might have been the only other one. And it felt different than this case. I think that case was meritless...but the investigation wasn't really an issue...more the political undertone of that prosecution decision than the investigation into it

I agree, same with Yanetti! They both seem so passionate of their clients innocence. When the judge scolded for Yanetti for "putting on a show" or being "hyperbolic" or "he is trying to convince her nobody else" was so offensive. He just seemed passionate.

As a non active service 0321 FORECON and later an 0372 CSO with the USMC and current critical incident investigator with the fire service in my home state you always follow the evidence, it's how you build a potential suspect pool, weather it be tracking terrorists to narco traffickers or arsonists and bombers or shoddy building engineers or contractors. then you widdle that pool down with various pieces of physical evidence and witness statements to sharpen the scope of the investigation to the guilty party. This obviously wasn't done here and unsurprisingly enough it's sort of par for the course with civilian Law Enforcement here in the US. This screams of a cover up and definitely a purposefully botched investigation to make the current defendant the guilty party, I for one would like to see any photos leading from the house to the body once CSI's were on scene contrary to popular belief footprints/drag marks in snow do not just disappear even if it continues to snow they leave residual traces showing a pattern where someone walked or was dragged. And would show if he the victim was struck by a vehicle via the debris field around the body NOT 30-50 feet away that would require an oddly high rate of speed for a driveway to throw debris that far. They claim she backed up into him and hit him that conclusion would not stand up during an accident reconstruction analysis funny how one was never done as far as I know to prove that's what happened. Maybe cause they already knew that's not what happened and are trying to hang this on someone else that is what all the evidence and testimony points to in my opinion.

Is the Commonwealth saying that Karen hit John in the driveway at 12:45 am? Why would John be in the drive at 12:45 am? She let him out at the foot of the drive before the F-150 arrived at 12:23 am. John was not in the car when the F-150 was parked behind Karen with her dome light on, waiting for John to call, but he was seen in the car with her when they turned onto Fairview in front of the F-150. Why would John be outside for more than 20 minutes and still in the driveway? And if police believed he was in the driveway of that house, why would they not interview everyone there immediately? And if Karen hit him in the driveway, in reverse at 24 mph, how did his body land 40 feet away, near the flagpole, with part of a drinking glass? It's a ridiculous theory.

Impossible to have been MV accident. John's injuries were to his Head & Face & arm only. None to his torso or legs, blood stain running down the center of his hooded shirt prove a bloody nose while upright. Laceration on BACK of head, yet he was found FACE UP, Arm puncture lacerations are obviously dog teeth wounds that have no possible motor vehicle-related cause as there was NO human DNA located on the undercarriage of Karen's car. No glass found on the bumper matched John's drinking glass.
There was tons of evidence that John had been inside Brian Albert's house and not struck by a car - but cops opted not to look for it. Had investigators so much as LOOKED through the Albert residence (basement), and perhaps separated every witness from one another to be interviewed ALONE, a huge puddle of blood would have been found inside. They never looked! They let the witnesses conspire alone together, and be interviewed together (within earshot).
They never filmed an interview. There are no signed witness statements. There are NO PIX of the tail light prior to being taken to the Lallyport. They provided crappy video footage with 42 minutes missing.
There was a lead investigator who hated the defendant, disrespected her openly among his colleagues, and objectified her - A lead investigator who cannot be objective, who's a part of a family that has a decades-long friendship with the owner of the home where John's body was found & who never treated any other witness as a potential suspect, despite being told by Karen from day 1 that John was inside the Albert home & had been beaten up by Colin & Brian Albert.
When anyone says there's no evidence that John was inside that house, they must be reminded that there was, actually. Karen told them he was inside the house. Rather than verifying whether he was or wasn't by doing a proper search, cops just decided not to believe her & instead chose to believe the Alberts & McCabes (because of the bias they had from jump).

At this stage I’m more at ‘incompetence and arrogance’ than ‘conspiracy’. These guys seemed to believe that whatever they said would become fact and so they weren’t thorough. So now even if KR did unalive JOK (which I believe would have been accidental), there’s just too much shoddy work to pin it down.

Years ago there was a shooting across the street from where we lived. We called 911 after hearing someone yelling for help. The police came and talked to us separately and asked if they could come in. I said sure. They asked if they could look and see if anyone else was in our house. I said sure. They took our statements and left. The guy who was shot was treated and released. It's weird that they didn't want to go in the Alberts' house.

Proctor keeps saying he's acting based on the overwhelming evidence he collected in the first 15 hours of investigation- when are we going to hear about this overwhelming evidence that points clearly at Karen Read committing premeditated murder to justify Proctor's intense hatred and his depraved conversations with friends and family? I wonder how Proctor would feel if a group of men sat around discussing his sister the way he and his buddies talked about Karen Read?
I would literally never vote guilty if I was a juror on this case. Not for any piece of evidence, not for a confession and video in 4k of Karen doing the deed and then laughing maniacally and dancing on his body. The prosecution lost me at Jenn McCabe's testimony. Even if there's not an out and out conspiracy, they clearly didn't investigate this to the full extent that they could and should have. I do not believe the CW, not about anything.
I hate that they're all such horrible people and they're getting away with it. No consequences.
