That so called "Victorian Prison House", IIRC, is actually a property in the city of Fayette, Missouri, and was intentionally built in 1875 as a sheriff’s house and jail. More recently this home saw an extensive renovation in 2005. But the section with all the jail cells only received enough touch ups to keep it from looking rusted and dysfunctional. The reason why the jail section remains untouched is that the house exterior is on the local area's preservation society of historic buildings list, and so you can't change the exterior of the building. And as a result, the interior jail section is almost cost prohibitive to take out/properly demolish and convert into a proper-looking home, so it just gets left alone.
That's actually probably a pretty good idea for it's time. Although I can't imagine a modern day sheriff living with a imprisoned criminal..even as a holding cell😮
Neat homes. You know what would be more neat? If your narration fit what was being shown in the screen. The Jungle Home is particularly bad. Where is this Buddha statue? You speak of the living room while focusing on a pink toilet.
@@MowTheLawnWithMe His monotone narration, depleted of any joy or enthusiasm, would even put insomniacs into a deep, restful sleep! Damn! It took me 8 f**king ours to get 20 minutes into this video! 🥱😴😴🥱😴💤🛌😪😪💤😴
The Treasue island house is probably the most sellable...but as a Florida native the indoor pool around all that wood just screams problems but i guess if you have the $ to buy it you can pay ppl for its upkeep
That curving Craftsman house is just my kind of house. It almost reminds me of something John Lautner would have designed.. I'd buy this house in a minute.
Genuinely upset, I went through the entire video waiting to see the "Pyramid House" you used for the thumbnail, as I used to drive past it every day for years.
Don't you know it almost a UA-cam meme to not show what is in the thumbnail. It's almost like an F you to the viewers. Makes you wonder whether the advertising is more important than the content.
@@sparkeyjames The more comments, the more money he makes from UA-cam. Ergo, making mistakes and having tons of people correct him, gives him more payment. My comment contributes to that too, lol.
Between Tucson and the cave house just north of Tombstone off 80, there is a very, very similar pyramid house in the desert. It is painted desert sand and the windows are covered in a similar film. You will definitely miss it if you are not being very diligent in looking for it. I agree with you about clickbait. But am glad that you can now notify YT and if they find it is a recurring thing they delete the channel and bar the owner.
There is/was, as of 1984, a house in a suburb of Detroit that is octagonally or pentagonal shaped (I can't remember which) with a pool in the center court yard. It is mostly constructed of fiberglass. The outside walls are shaped like a large < making the rooms oddly shaped as well. A hallway runs around the entire inside between the rooms and the courtyard. Like a Corvette automobile a slight smell of fiberglass seemed ever present when I got a tour through the inside.
The house is covered with beer cans the cans are not flatten and take a look again the ones that are hanging down from the front of the house those are cut there's no flatten cans a lot of you narrators when you narrate videos it seems like you don't pay attention to the video
you missed the dog house in Buffalo Springs Lake in Lubbock, Texas. Thee most unusual home I have ever seen or a missile silo house outside of Sedalia, Mo.
I was born in Lewiston Idaho and live North of Couer d'Alene, in Boundary County. I just wanted to let you know how it is pronounced. It is pronounced Core Duh Lane. 😊
This is a great video. I love seeing the houses. It’s interesting that two or three are close to where I live and I hadn’t heard about them. I realize that you’re reading a description, but you should do two things differently. First, insert a little life into it. You’re very monotonous. Second when you’re describing a room, talk about it while that room is being shown. Otherwise, cool houses!
I disagree there is no original material here other than his voice over. All the images used to make this video are available on the net. He put no effort into this other than piecing it all together. In fact some of the information he states here shows he didn’t do his own fact checking. This will be the last video I watch of his, I will go as far to check out if he has any other channels and put them on my do not watch list.
MOST POOLS ARE NOT HEALTHY POOLS, JUST DUMB POOLS. Have a pool where you get a healthy daily exercise in a CIRCULAR Whirlpool. With slides, and 2, Bar Climbing bridge. The water travels in a circle island. NOT WASTING A SECOND OF YOUR TIME and fun. This pool mostly 4ft. deep. Many people have indoors and outdoor pools.
I absolutely love seeing weird and unusual homes, which is why I clicked on this link. The houses he chose to show were pretty awesome. But I was kind of disappointed regarding the last few as I thought there were more impressive ones in the beginning/middle. And I really wanted to see the pyramid house ☹️
Time and time again talks about the kitchen and decks and yet he's showing pictures of a living room then again he's talking about bathrooms and he's showing a bedroom is there something wrong with showing what you're talking about in the video or are we just supposed to imagine very silly video indeed
hi Kyle nice homes and different I think you do a great job on the videos hope you were safe out there 🙏🙏🙏 even though they are different they are beautiful hope to see more videos ❤️ you thanks for sharing the story of the homes
Deux maisons sortent du lot. Ma préférée est Sand Dollar Beach House, magnifique et cela doit être agréable d'y habiter. L'autre c'est la Rotonde St An's Court, très belle maison avec une finition très luxueuse.
If you're going to put up your house for 1.1 million and its around at least get the boards off the windows😢 it might detract from your price😮 I always spend one point in 1 million on a house that's boarded up😢
A Pyramid House is the cover photo of this video, yet, you didn't show it. That is just wrong! I want to see this Pyraming House!!!! Where is it????!!!!???
Your beer can house is 2 different places. The exterior and the story are about a Houston tx man and house. The interior is a condo in Florida. Great research
The home in Arizona. Where in Arizona? Because it rarely gets below freezing in the winter here except certain areas… but this looks like it’s low desert

The jailhouse home is just plain creepy and it seems haunted to me
Didn't show the pyramid house in the thumbnail
The Star Trek home sounds like something Sheldon Cooper from Big Bang Theory would create 🤣🤣 The treasure Island house looks like a resort❕❗

Thank you I'm not alone
Also rotund means chubby, he should say rotunda or some other word for round
I'm here too with that complaint.
I didn’t make it very far in the video. The monotone narration put me to sleep.

The Beer Can House: say you're an alcoholic without saying you're an alcoholic 🤣🤣👍

It's refreshing to find a channel that actually puts in the work.
The interior of the bubble house reminds me of the flinstones! 😄
I enjoy videos like this but I miss your abandoned videos the most and I loved the series when y’all were renovating the cabin.
Money, brains and taste are not providet equally. 😂

Love the sunflower house windows
The Beer Can house is at 222 Malone St. in Houston, Texas. Not Lake Worth.
The Sand Dollar house, not a Frank Lloyd? Looks quite interesting. I like the patios/decking off from some rooms though.😊
Nah ... TOO weird .

Oooh those painted sinks are soooo pretty, but I'd be terrified of dropping something that would chip it
Those don't cost that much. I'm sure you can find them on the internet.
Your narration and photo editing don't match up.
I like that cave house
There's a cave house in north central Arkansas and on Smith Island, there's a house the locals call "The Coffee House".
On the jungle mansion when you said step into the front room you should show the front room and not the toilet
Mushroom house looks unfinished. Anything from Dr. phil is scary, that guys a nut!
you missed the dog house in Buffalo Springs Lake in Lubbock, Texas. Thee most unusual home I have ever seen or a missile silo house outside of Sedalia, Mo.
Nice collection of homes and well presented. But, could you leave out the trash truck backing up beeping background music next time?

Love the hobit cave house ❤

Mee too! I could live there
Lots of cool places

I would love to live in the cave house!
well I was expecting the pyramid house shown on this video thumbnail and it never showed up, disappointing
I have not heard the word verdant in my entire life the amount of times i heard it today..... are you reading the realtors descriptions??
Who writes the dialogue for this is absolutely ridiculous p the houses are beautiful
Beer can house is in Houston, not Lake Worth.
Wow, a house with more than 1 bathroom, yaay! 😅

Don't go in the witch house. Bad idea.
I am not sure what gives me a bigger kick.... the off the wall properties you present or, you're over the top , cookie cutter, flowery descriptions.!
13:00, Crash and Bash Construction kinda took me by surprise. Sounds more like destruction. Anyway, made me laugh pretty good.

Thanks so much Tammy I really appreciate it 😊
@@kylemcgran you are so welcome
Curved walls, not rotund.
Interesting.
I love the one that was on the beach that looks like a snail. I like creative stuff and weird stuff I love that I don't see why they can't sell?❤❤
Ooooh! These are fantastic! You’re so rad Kyle, thank you so much!❤️🐈⬛🐆🐈💕🙏
Ayy thanks so much! Glad you enjoyed 🤟🏼
Also like the underground house, ❤❤❤❤
The one that was always 55 degrees? That's too cold.
I love the sand dollar house 💙
Love the Essex round house. I love the color theme. Blue and pink pastels are my favor colors together. ❤
Oh my god a Star Trek home is my favourite like the name of the owner that built it lol
I would like the cave home ❤
Five of the houses are my favorite, can you guess which ones 😁?!! Keep Orange Crushing it Kyle!
Most of these houses are horrendous, especially the Star Trek mansion, just goes to prove that money doesn’t buy taste 🤢
The yellow pyramid is giving me Midsommer vibes. Does it come with a bearskin rug?
Love the bunker ❤
This was informational as well as wicked cool!
Thumbnail makes me want to say "It's dangerous to go alone. Take this!"
The Aqua Star on the
Will-am-ett river looks even more stunning in real life. We have some friends that live next door to it.
The second home would make a great Flintstone movie house😂
I sure wish we could've seen more of the inside of the yacht house!!!🤨

Love the Sand-dollar house!😊
This was fun to watch
Oh wow this house looks like a Alien trending !
There are unfortunately probably plenty of people who could buy the Star Trek house.
U know what wod complete the actual 50 minutes of unique homes IS actually showing EACH HOMES INSIDES!

Sunflower house is my favorite.
3:58 🤦🏽♀️ - It is the WILL-LAM-ET RIVER. Emphasis on the middle syllable.
At least you got Oregon right.
Who owned these homes, blew our the mountain?!!!
Cool sand dollar house
The beer can house is in Houston, Texas
Of course it all is!
Thanks, this was neat!
I love the sand dollar house. I so wish I could afford it.
The water tower home is way cool and differant
Have viewers send you pictures of their IN or OUTDOOR, pools! times is right.
A lot of people have indoor pools. For the last 30-years.
Your beer can house is 2 different places. The exterior and the story are about a Houston tx man and house. The interior is a condo in Florida. Great research
Don't the insides of caves drip water? Or is that just an east coast thing?
Very creativity

I would live in most of these.
Omg they are so Beautiful ❤❤❤❤❤❤
I would add some solar panels.
Outstanding vid. ty
Thanks so much for watching I’m glad you enjoyed!
2:34 that’s the flinstone house lol
That's awesome!
Could the narrator be more dry? He needs some kind of inflection in his voice
Beer can house is in Houston texas
33:53, all glass bathrooms? 😳😳😳😳
The house with the huge pink character in the yard was pretty cool!!❤❤
Clicked this for the house in the thumbnail… never saw that one.
Where can I look up any strange houses for sale?
Can you show some adult tree houses please high in the trees? - Thanks in advance
