If you connect still can not cast screen then try this one :
(1) Go to settings > Tap on until you get developer option.
(2) Additional Settings > Developer Option > under NETWORKING turn ON Wireless Display Certificate option.
(3) Reboot your device
(4) Select Miracast option on TV
(5) Turn ON wifi and Location (Must)
(6) Go to Connection & Sharing > Wireless Display.
Now It will surely cast your screen to TV.
Earlier i was also getting error that Device is connected but not cast, but following this steps i can now successfully connect my mobile phone to MI Tv.
