- In the remote mountains of northern Madagascar is home to the rare Silk Sifaka Lemurs. Like all lemurs, the sifaka lemurs are only found on the island of Madagascar. These jumping primates are threatened by illegal logging that is destroying their unique environment that is essential to their survival. You can love animals and nature without deifying them or vilifying humanity. People are not wrong for farming, eating, procreating, or earning a living in the places they are born. Nature worship is not the solution.
Issue is over populating, over farming, and thinking this earth only belongs to us.
I'm a chick forest technician from Montreal, nature cannot live pocketed.. Look at container ship accident in Baltimore, all goods being shipped to later be thrown out and pollute!
100% right. They didn't fault the Lemas for surviving on leaves, yet they film, then demonize the locals for using the small bits of trees that takes massive work to pull just a small section of it. There's an evil in this world this seeks to turn humanity against each other. The narratives they spin are just foolish. Just because you have a good camera and a good voice to narrate doesn't mean you're right. God has placed more than enough on this planet for both animals and people to be happy. That's why they sell the lie of scarcity to fuel the fear of lack.
