- This documentary gives a delicate and insightful look into the rare and elusive Indian Wolf, and the relationship these wolves share with the nomadic shepherds that live along the south central Indian plains. The nomadic shepherds face threats to their ancient way of life that now hangs by a thread. The tension between age-old ways and modernity, between fragility and resilience, reigns high.

All credit to this nomadic tribe for survival of these wolves when they can easily eradicate them. Hats off
42:02 they protect those wolves because of their beliefs, if m¡$$¡0Π@π¡€$ somehow would manage to ¢0Πv€πt these nomads then their belief systems would change and consequently they might not protect the wolves like this.
Thank you 🙏. For protecting this special animal. The Beautiful wolf 🐺. ❤❤
I think the lions and the shepherds in Gujarat are a great example for shepherds everywhere… sometimes the lions take a domestic animal, that’s karma. That’s going to happen, especially when the animals aren’t kept secured. So the shepherds have made peace with it happening sometimes. They understand there are barely 100-200 of the Asian lions left, there are billions of livestock.
You have got wrong information about the Asian Lion....their population right now are more than 600 in Sasan Gir and it is increasing positively every year
India has astoundingly diverse flora and fauna. It's nice to see their compassion and care for the animals. These species are priceless.
25:40 “At last! He too subsumes to bananas!” Lmao they sound so passionate and genuinely excited about it
Absolutely breathtaking and deeply impactful!
Thanks, a beautiful film that illustrates exactly what the challanges are in today's world in terms of wildlife conservation. Like in India, the Masai also have an understanding of tthe importance of wild animals and how they can conflict with their nomadic lifestyle. For us living in ignorant communities/milieus when it comes to understanding wildlife, we need to educate ourselves on the complexity and necessity of us engaging in wildlife conservation.
Thanks from Scotland and Love from Russia!!! Bless!!! Peace!!!
Thank you for this video. I applaude the tenacity of both the video ographer and the wolves. I truly hope Bent Ear and his partner live on and that his pups grow as wise as he is. Wonderful to see the wolves in the wild(what little is left of it) and surviving and adapting in spite of the odds against them. I truly enjoy their story and thank you for sharing it.❤❤❤🐾

The Pale-Footed Wolf (Canis pallipes) is a species of dog native to Southwestern Asia, there are two recognized subspecies of pale-footed wolf, the Arabian Wolf (Canis pallipes arabs) and the Indian Wolf (Canis pallipes pallipes), the Pale-Footed Wolf (Canis pallipes) is surprisingly the closest living relative of the oceanian wild dogs, which are both the New Guinea Singing Dog (Canis hallstromi) and the Dingo (Canis dingo).

Thanks for making this video but you could have done more by making awareness among the farmers and animal grazers about the importance of these wolves and they are getting extinct also with little money you can release some Guinea pigs in those areas and also some rabbits perhaps with these small animals wolves will survive too as these animals can survive too .
