I think he will go down in history as a technically brillant, but underachieving fighter. Because he has 2 rly disappointing and honestly avoidable losses and his body seems fragile, he is showing wear and tear and won't have the time to achieve the resume of an ATG, he is ages away from having a resume like Mayweather, Pacquiao or even Canelo. He won't get there.

That reminds me when Leo Santa Cruz said in a interview he let us down and doesn't know if people would still like to watch his fights. Boxing fans are specially cruel changing their interest just with one or two loses . They take a huge effort on climb up and suddenly people forget about them.

@@luisgera22 The truth is that there are defeats from which it is difficult to recover, however I share many people are ruthless, but it is boxing itself that is, and no matter how much you try to make up it remains a sport in which the glory of a boxer it depends on the annihilation of the other.

Loma's footwork is on another level!
I've never seen anything like it, Lomas footwork truely is something to behold.
@@CC-ff7ft When he was young his dad made him start with gymnastic routines before starting boxing training hence why his footwork IMO is one of a kind that hasn't or cannot be replicated. It's simply such a pleasure to watch him fight with that unique footwork. One second he's here the next he could be anywhere when he's on the offence that's why he's so hard to hit. Commey only had a 11% success rate with his punches while Loma ended up around 50% or so, when Commey was successful Loma was hitting him back with counter combinations. Against Teo he wasn't 100% plus took too long to get settled (partly due to Teo and his power of course) and was playing catch up after the 6th round. Usually doesn't take him more than 3 rounds to get in his groove, accuracy and range so all credit to Teo for not giving him the chance to get comfortable until the 6th. If Loma won the last round it could've been anyone's fight but personally I gave it a draw.
@@daginezho1637 Not so. That is not why Loma (in his own words) has incredible footwork. Look into it a bit more.
Of course not due to it completely but It definitely laid the foundation towards the unique footwork he has. I don't completely know all the training he's done when it comes to his footwork but I will definitely look into it some time. Thanks 👍

As a Ukrainian, I'm delighted with my countryman's win but when during the post fight interview Commey said that he let his people (of Ghana) down, it just hit me like a freight train. Guys, let's more appreciate the fighters for their job and for what they put on the line. We too often take things for granted. Loma - you're out of this world. Commey - you're a great warrior. That was just beautiful to watch.. Loma boxed great.. he’s definitely one of a kind, don’t think we have any other boxer that fights like Loma, this Loma beats anyone. So much class and respect shown by him at the end, he could have KO’d him with another punch.. he carried him after the knockdown, just played with him.. total domination. Incredible, absolutely incredible.. some of the best boxing I’ve ever seen..commey, you did your country proud, what a warrior.. you kept going til the end! 👊🏾

I was so bored of Boxing over the last years and slowly abandoned it. Today, for the first time, I see Lomachenko and it's fantastic. He fights like I always envisioned a boxer should fight. Almost perfect.
Loma is special all around, his boxing IQ and finesse is just on another level! If fans should really appreciate the boxing from Lomachenko 🥊👑
Only thing got me scared on this fight was everytime Loma's in a clinch he always try to pull out his way. Please don't let that shoulder get injured again, the boxing that he shows is what we needed.

Almost ruined by having a woman commentating, political correctness sticking its ugly face in where its not needed.
But Loma is good, Richard is a awesome AFRICAN worrier.
Richard was relying in every exchange, so African fighters should learn that they should know out all overseas fighters.
Richard is a real fighter,he faced a hostile crowd that's all.the fighter was very close.
It could have been a draw if it was a former champions.
Richard saying at the end that he let his people down so emotionally, shows you what a nice person he really is. No, Richard, you did not, Loma is a phenom who was only beat by injury (Lopez) and inexperience (Solido), you gave your best and went the distance. Loma is one of a kind, but Richard has a heart of gold. Good luck to both lads.

Lomachenko is on another level, yesterday's fight left other fighters shy or hesitant to beat Loma, I want to see Loma become the undisputed champion soon, and at that level for a long time
Coming from the home country of Pacquiao, we've seen some of the best fighters and fights, there is. But LOMA! he's one of a kind and I super, duper adores this Man. I can probably count just a few boxers in our time who has that kind of power and brilliance. Commey should not feel bad, he fought a good fight, but LOMA was just simply astonishing!!!

No other boxer on this planet has the skill set that Lomachenko showed in this fight. He is on another level and is without doubt the best lightweight by a distance. Only a matter of time before he gets all the belts back where they belong. Note well he fought Teofimo with one arm due to his shoulder injury and that is clear as ABC when you watch the fight.

Loma is way up there amongst the likes of James Toney, Whitaker, Hamed, Ali, Roy Jones, Rigondeaux, Floyd. Etc. As one of the most skilled fighters of all times.
Am I the only one who adores Steve Willis?! By far one of the best referees in the game - he just let's the fighters get on with it. You can tell (from those facial expressions) he's very much invested in this fight too haha he's got the best seat in the house!

Praying that Lomachenko gets another crack at the lightweight titles and soon! Whether it be against Kambosos or Haney for his WBC the man deserves it. Everyone seemed to forget he existed after the Teofimo fight but he’s back in the title picture now and hopefully gets his shot!
After lomas defeat to Lopez i was worried that he could be on the decline but oh boy was i wrong after his past two performances he's proved he can be a world champion again he seems rejuvenated and reenergised he truly is a master of the sport it's beautiful boxing loma is back.
The way it happened in round 2 was so quick. Loma is a very unique boxer. No one in the game has his style. Matter of fact all 135 division boxers have their own unique style. Some has insane defense (Devin Haney), some have crazy hand speen (Garcia), some have a inhumane power (Tank), and lets not forget Kambosos who everyone is eyeing on right now. I truly hope the day all 135 boxers will clash against each other because style makes fights.. Damn its a good time for boxing.

Nobody gonna give Loma credit for not knocking the opponent out? While he clearly could? We even got a glimpse of Loma's ultra instinct form for couple of seconds in this fight when he adviced the corner to stop.

its stupid. its not compassionate. its looks egotistical and bullying at worst and at best its well meaning but ignorant. by not applying the last couple of shots that he easily could have to end the fight in a merciful way, he put Commey through 5 more rounds of taking headshots

Huge respect for Loma holding back. He could have seriously hurt Commey, but holds back at the critical moment, several times. Shows he has respect for his opponent as well, not wanting to hurt him to win when he can control the fight the way he does. And huges respect to Commey for not giving up. Fighting a man like Loma must be super frustrating...
