"writing a song none will hear". I love that line.This is my favorite Beatles song and has been since I was a young kid and I saw the Beatles movie. But it also reminds me that there are so many people who struggle worse than I do, and i get angry at every thing that bothers me. It makes me feel like I can do better.

This is false. Paul McCartney got the name Eleanor Rigby from the actress Eleanor Bron and “Rigby” from a liquor store. Coincidentally, Paul would later learn there was a gravestone for Eleanor Rigby in his hometown

My grandmother used to play this song aloud the television and it relaxed me to hear this again.
I can imagine laying on the back of a truck outside looking at the stars with your S/O holding hands and not talking while listening to this song. It’s so soothing and relaxing. It is such a sad but beautiful song.

When your 2 bestfriends leave you behind and they don't notice your absence.
When you realize how cold and hars the world can be, you isolate your self away from all that "socializing" with your "friends" that are using you for money or free rides or maybe just to make fun of you without you knowing it.
If your presence doesn't matter to them, then neither does the absence.
I personally prefer staying in my room and playing games or outside in my yard, than going out with my "friends" and giving them the chance to backstab me again.

This is like someone OD’ing on heroin while one of their parents is playing Eleanor rigby on vinyl in the other room, time starts to slow and the music somehow matches how lonely they’re feeling in that moment. Scared to open the door and have the music stop due to their mistake, but desperately wanting to not be alone in that moment.
