I'm impressed by the rifle caliber derringers, didn't think they'd do well with such a short barrel! As always the slugs appear that they would be very effective at incapacitating a threat
The rifle round(s) of the .223 or 7.62x39 were my favorite. It was a bit surprising to see the rounds do so well out of such a small barrel. Of course, the downside is that there is only one round available. It would be cool if you did a comparison of only real pockets pistols and see how well they concealed and how many rounds they carried, etc.. The Diamondback DB9, Ruger LCP and similar pistols make good pocket pistols, especially the pistols that are available in 9mm.
Yeah they do well but you are losing a World of Energy from that rounds. I stimate from my experience, that they are likely performing like a .38 special or .45 colt. But they are quite More expensive rounds. So, wouldnt recommend.
@George Cranston Do states have laws preventing people from obtaining handgun rounds? It wouldn’t surprise me if that were the case, but that’s pretty ridiculous. If you can get rifle rounds, you should be able to get handgun rounds as well.
@@georgecranston8102 even if thats the case. Wouldnt recommend. From what i ve seen, these guns have some problems. Scott dont show it but Brandon herrera showed one of those and it was incredible hard to open once fired. He never was able to open it by hand. He had to crank it open with a Little hammer
I haven't seen a Mini-COP in years. I always figured the recoil would have been too much for any kind of a follow up shot. The 410 surprised me, pretty gnarly for a 410. I think you were pretty perplexed on pronouncing pocket pistols so many times. 😂 Awesome video.

The father does not judge anyone but has entrusted all judgement to the son so that all may honor the son as they honor the father whoever fails to honor the son is not honoring the father who sent very truly I tell you whoever here's what I am saying and trust the one who sent me has eternal life
Technically, the Mini-COP is more iconic, thanks to Team Fortress 2. It's a weapon for the Scout class, called the Shortstop. It's a good weapon, but doesn't fire once, it takes 4 shots to empty.
Can we just take a moment to the applaud and appreciate the people who created that gelatin sculpture who would've they would've turned out so durable 😂👏👏👏👏👏
First off, favorite pocket pistol was the C.O.P .357. Second, I was honestly expecting a Ruger Alaskan or a .500 S&W Snub nose in this video... Thanks for the laughs Scott and good luck with the next video, would love to see you shoot some old Blackpowder guns some day ;-)
Seems like all of these are pretty effective, .22LR not so much but would still be a deterrent. Think my favourites were the COP .357 magnum, the 5 round .45 ACP pistol (wish the name was more rememberable) and of course the Remington road warrior.
.22LR as you've said is still lethal, but it is interesting to hear that it's responsible for the majority of gun related fatalities in the states. As a British person, I'd have thought it would be 9mm
As always you never fail to disappoint! LOL 😂. I live in extreme Southeast Tennessee about 30 minutes or last from where the ducktown derringers were made I had a side-by-side and the over-under for .410 . Both barrels were just a little over 4 inches. What's also funny is I had the 40-caliber version of the AMT backup stainless steel. The little groove site was not very kind. Now what's really ironic is I had a cut down pistol 12-gauge just not a Remington. We would shoot 3 inch turkey load cut shells for fun. That was some massive damage.... Thanks for the entertainment!!!! By the way, the ducktown Derringer company was called (LEINAD). The owner's name spelled backwards they also made 9 mm cobrays. The ATF shut them down because people that work with him were selling guns with no serial numbers out the back of the factory. It's a shame because he made several unique items we never got to play with.
I'm honestly shocked you risked shooting those Heizer derringers considering I KNOW you are aware they could likely have seriously bad headspace problems and could have went kaboom in your hand. Figured you were gonna rig them to a board or something. Braver man than I. Lol

@@justaguy577 I think they are really only that useful for people that can't access pistol ammo.
@@justaguy577 True, these guns seem more like novelties honestly.
I love how at 20:14 when you slow it down, you can see the muzzle flash reflected off the torso before the shot enters the frame.
Maybe that's because light travels slightly faster than the bullet
The gauge was definitely the best. Thanks Scott. Awesome show brotha👊
Your editing and filming techniques are getting really good, very cool!
1:04 Joke on you , i dont have friend to text him 🙃
0:14 bro turned into negan💀
12:47 gotta love the shortstop, Scott forgot to use the shove though
I haven't seen a Mini-COP in years. I always figured the recoil would have been too much for any kind of a follow up shot.
The 410 surprised me, pretty gnarly for a 410. I think you were pretty perplexed on pronouncing pocket pistols so many times. 😂
Awesome video.
Yehoshua the son of god the word of God who god sent down to thsi earth as a man says my command is this keep on loving eachother. The father does not judge anyone but has entrusted all judgement to the son so that all may honor the son as they honor the father whoever fails to honor the son is not honoring the father who sent very truly I tell you whoever here's what I am saying and trust the one who sent me has eternal life
John chapter 5
Technically, the Mini-COP is more iconic, thanks to Team Fortress 2.
It's a weapon for the Scout class, called the Shortstop.
It's a good weapon, but doesn't fire once, it takes 4 shots to empty.
0:47 he had me cracking up after he smacked the dummy😂
Can we just take a moment to the applaud and appreciate the people who created that gelatin sculpture who would've they would've turned out so durable 😂👏👏👏👏👏
"That’s a long trigger!"
_fucking dies_
This is the first Kentucky Ballistics video I’ve seen that didn’t have the whip sound effect at the beginning of the video.
That 762 was pretty awesome! Great show as always Scott!
This is such a great video. Can’t stop laughing at the creativity of this video. Plus love how often Scott uploads to keep us entertained
When Scott smiles it makes my day 😊
The 7.62X39 looks like a fun little pocket pistol! The 12 Gauge Howdah was pretty awesome too!
Your videos always put a smile on my face. Thanks for the great content Scott!
12:12 shortstop for tf2😩
16:30 They took head-splitting headache to another level
Scott you’re a man of many talents, now a poet. Loved all the pocket Pistols, this was an amazing video aa usual.
Just when I think I'm over Scotts content, he puts out another zinger. Intros are up there with Demo Ranch. Would like to see more collabs too
First off, favorite pocket pistol was the C.O.P .357.
Second, I was honestly expecting a Ruger Alaskan or a .500 S&W Snub nose in this video...
Thanks for the laughs Scott and good luck with the next video, would love to see you shoot some old Blackpowder guns some day ;-)
I've wanted one of those(COP .357) since The Matrix:Reloaded, kinda useless but still neat as hell.
@@logicplague First time I saw them was in either Crying Freeman or Bad Boys 1, still as you say a neat gun
@@widgren87 Oh yeah, forgot that last scene in Bad Boys.
Seems like all of these are pretty effective, .22LR not so much but would still be a deterrent. Think my favourites were the COP .357 magnum, the 5 round .45 ACP pistol (wish the name was more rememberable) and of course the Remington road warrior.
If you got em in the head with a .22LR, it would be an even better deterrent. .22 is responsible for more fatalities than any other round in the US!
.22LR as you've said is still lethal, but it is interesting to hear that it's responsible for the majority of gun related fatalities in the states.
1:11 I ran out of friends already
Ah jokes on him, i don't have any friends 😂
12:10 Scott has a bat and a Colt Derringer. This is the day Scott became The Scout.
*Faster Than A Speeding Bullet starts playing*
A Boston Basher to be specific.
I'm honestly shocked you risked shooting those Heizer derringers considering I KNOW you are aware they could likely have seriously bad headspace problems and could have went kaboom in your hand. Figured you were gonna rig them to a board or something. Braver man than I. Lol
well nothibg can get worse than thosa SLAP rounds… so I guess he is not that worried
Hello from Switzerland 🇨🇭 love it ✌🏻
I love my .25 Astra CUB pocket pistol. I carry it everywhere I go.
I am still surprised that Scott can just look at the scar on his neck and just laugh
He laughs in the face of death.
Great against Pyro, and pairs well with the Mad Milk.
I was looking specifically for this comment
