Thank you for the video. When I pulled mine out I noticed that the debris was on top but the arrow points up and aftermarket filters have a arrow showing the direction of airflow so thank you for clarifying it
Happy to share! I just came back to this video because I'm about to change my filter again (we do lots of driving on dirt roads so changing every year.)
WOW ! An aspect of Mr. B I did not expect. Getting the Sub ready for its next adventure I assume. I'm sure the Nugget can plug it up in no time 😅. Dave

Actually there may be a couple aftermarket brands that point up but most will point in the direction of air flow which is down.
Great point!

Ahhh… I’ll check the filter in another couple years to see if it’s clogged… maybe some Mexican dust in there.
Not what is in my 2016 Crosstrek... some what diff glove compartment, totally different filter. Same location.
Thanks for your help. 👍
How do you tell if it's a manufacturer's filter . I went to Autozone and got the one that matched the make & model and the brand is STP
Thanks I found your link!
Thank you for watching!
Also I got the glove box dropped down but now it won't fit or close. It is an inch or so too high to close
