- Easy Baingan ka Bharta Recipe with @kanakskitchenhindi |आसान बैंगन का भरता|Brinjal Bharta Kaise Banae

Preparation time: 10 mins
Cooking time: 30 mins
Calories: 132 per portion
Ingredients:
Eggplant/baingan 1 pc
Oil 2 tbsp
Jeera ½ tbsp
Onion chopped 1 cup
Garlic chopped 3 tsp
Garlic cloves 8-9 pcs
Green chilli chopped 1 tbsp
Ginger chopped 1 tbsp
Salt ½ tbsp
Kashmiri chilli powder 1 tbsp
Turmeric powder 1 tsp
Coriander powder 1 tsp
Tomato chopped 1 cup
Coriander chopped 1 tbsp
Method:
Choose a big size brinjal, wash & clean it.
Apply pricks with a knife and insert garlic cloves in it.
Apply oil to the whole brinjal.
Turn on the flame, place a grill and roast the brinjal until it gets charred from all the sides. Keep the flame to medium heat.
Once done, take it to a plate, and remove the charred skin.
Then chop it finely.
Heat a pan, add oil, jeera and let it crackle.
Then add chopped onion and saute them until it gets translucent.
Then add chopped garlic, some garlic cloves and saute.
Later add chopped green chilli, chopped garlic, salt, kashmiri chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder and saute them.
Then add chopped tomatoes and cook until it gets mashy.
Now add chopped brinjal and cook for 5-6 mins on medium flame.
Lastly add chopped green chilli, chopped ginger, chopped coriander and saute.
Garnish it with chopped coriander, fried green chilli and serve it with kulchas or roti.
Baingan ka bharta is ready to serve.
