anyone else remember Warcraft 2 having skins? winter maps would have snow and Christmas lights on the buildings, wish they still had stuff like that in games still

Quintuple nukes are becoming the new thermy meta!
I think that if you launch all of them into or close to valuable targets like production or mineral lines, then you can potentially get the most out of them. I feel like at most one can be somewhere random but it's kinda hopeful. GGs and a creative idea for an episode, crazy unit combo!
You seem to do really well with the nukes when you distract the other player by attacking somewhere else. The first 3x nukes where huge in part because you had the banshees in his base. I feel for the guy, got to be demoralizing to be on the receiving end of all that chaos.
That zerg player in the end was 100% spooked by your challenge (do nukes count as Halloween themed? 🤔)
Nukes are the treat in trick or nukes.
Nukes are hell of a thing, so yes, they do count.
Ghosts count as witches, they abracadabra your opponent's army, buildings, and good mood away.
Nothing but admiration for constantly reinventing a 10+ year old game ! Absolute legend, thank you for the amazing content. I'm curious if you've ever considered giving beyond all reason a try, it's an amazing RTS in developement and currently my absolute favorite!
New challenge idea: the Christmas / St. Nicholas StarCraft 2 Challenge
'Twas the night before Timing Attack, when all through the house
Not a Broodling was stirring, nor a Drone, nor a Louse;
The detection was lacking, spread sparse without care,
In hopes that St. Medivac soon would be there;
The Larvae were nestled all snug in their nest,
With visions of minerals just beyond the crest;
And Queen with her inject, Overlord in his perch,
Had prepared just for a standard 1v1 search,
When out in the natural there arose such a clatter,
Lings sprang from cocoons to see what was the matter.
Away down the ramp they flew with a flash,
Tore through Creep, passed debris, to their newly gained stash.
Dissipating explosions and afterburner glow
Gave the lustre of combat to objects below,
When, what to their wondering eyes should scatter and hide,
But two miniature ships, and eight tiny mines...

The challenge entails filling St. Nicholas' sleigh (MEDIVAC(s)) with presents (e.g. Widow Mines) and stocking every tree (main & expansion) with presents as early as humanly possible--I'm talking pre-standard timing attacks--especially before the workers can saturate the base(s) and open their presents!
If the opponent does not 'gg' out from the first wave, feel free to deem them Naughty or Nice and deliver the appropriate presents on subsequent trips (e.g. Hellbats for Naughty, Nukes for Nice)

Challenge idea! At the start of the game, announce in the chat one or more units or buildings that you promise NOT to make that game. You can make a different choice every game, or every episode, but of course it's most fun if your exclusions expose a real weakness, and it's up to your opponent to find and exploit the weakness.

5 nukes = Pentanuke sounds spooky, fits in with holloween theme
Idea for a new challenge : splash to gm. Could be played as random. Terrain = reaper(grenade), tank, lib, hellion/hellbat Zerg: bainling, ravager(bile) lurker, muta Protoss: colossus, hightemlar, disruptor
First time I see someone you destroy say GGWP. GG sometimes, but never the WP as well. Hats off for Thriving

Meh. I’d say it’s still fine to make since it’ll transform into a Hellbat. And since it’s often used to refer to kids, it’s *definitely* on brand for Halloween.

Took my kid trick or treating and probably saw around 20 kids dressed as marines”armed forces” people.
A "hellion" is usually a troublemaker. A child more often than not, being rowdy and ungovernable. Definitely Halloween.

thanks for the Vid. How about the X-Com 2 Challenge?? You are only allowed to use Infantire: Marines, Ghost, Marauders, Reaper + Turrets and Medivacs. You are not allowed to use M.U.L.E. cause Xcom is always low on fonds and heavly relays on scouting and espionage. Every dead Soldier is gone hurt!!
Alien vs Predator: To hunt down Zerg you are only allowd to produce Berserker, Dark templer and maybe Adapts. Mothership and Warpprism to travel from HUnting ground to Hunting ground are also allowed.

Hellion is more modern folklore and is generally thought of as some kind of demonic creature. Since its fairly new modern folklore (last 100 years), its not super well defined.

New Challenge Idea: SUV all-in to Marco. You need to rush an attack with ur army + SUVs within the first X minutes of the challenge. You are allowed to keep X (lets say 5?) SUVs at home. If u cant kill the opponent with the SUV attack, u cant leave and need to work ur way back into the game.
One could make an argument for the widow mine in this challenge
You could've also used Cyclones, one eyed giants heh

Next year you can do trick or treat where you have to ninja base their third or gold base and mine as many minerals as possible.

You cannot build the extra CC's on your fresh 4th base, then they both die and you lose 2 or 3 CC's which made a big difference. Just build them in the main, later you can build them further outside

Great video but kind of dumb concept. I have seen people dress as a soldier(marine), pirate(marauder) and Viking. Basically, cyclone, battlecruiser, and medivac are the only Terran units not available in this challenge if you go by Halloween costumes. Even then people dress as nurses so I could see an argument for medivacs, although I would disagree.
Other races halloween units: Baneling, Stalker, Lurker, Viper
Can you do a nuke chain where you sacrifice your ghost by nuking the one you want to get off? So if you are nuking the main, then you nuke the ghost that is nuking the main, and the other ghost is nuking that ghost?

By the way, I have been wondering, we already had mass tanks to GM? Tanks and another unit type to counter air units but focus are tanks.

That only leaves no tanks, marines, battle cruisers, and cyclones. Doesn't sound like much of a challenge.
How is marauder or viking halloween themed? Raiders are spooky?
