  • This is the 2020 Lifan KPM200 Ride and review. I'm doing a review of this and the X-Pect. I have another video with them combined, almost done (kinda), but need to merge it together.
I do not (for the moment) edit my video's. Take them how they are. I'm testing A: Doing this stuff B: My new COOAU camera C: I'm sure they'll get better with time, experience and some good editing software.
    Thanks for watching.

Most definitely. Super easy to ride and low 30" seat height. Great brakes and not stupid fast. And don't believe all the stuff you read about people outgrowing and wanting a faster bike. I have a Harley 1200 Sportster and I'd take the KPM or X-Pect over it, any day of the week.

@@gregslair4278 to be fair. Harleys aren't exactly fast. Coming from someone who knows more about Harleys then I realistically should.
Stock Evo puts out like 70 hp. They drive around like a truck but bare torque. So they accelerate fast which is an issue. But the 1200cc bikes are more so shit like my buddies dumb ass heavily modified Hayabusa that even people used to 1000cc bikes need to be scared of.
That 250cc range and below can get boring and also less safe on some highways quick. 500cc in alot of riders I know opinion is the sweet spot. Don't really need more but less can be iffy.
For info sake while I'm also looking at a kpm200. My goal and would be first bike would be a custom soft tail bobber. With a 94 inch knuckle head by s&s. However I also want my bobber to be able to play with sport bikes on the 3 mile long private road on my buddies property. Home made drag strip basically. Used to be a private run way for some rich mofo in a privet little plane.
So actual goal power wise is like 170hp range. On the harley style engine. On a bike I'm planning an aluminium frame on. And probably 200 to 240 rear sport bike rim and tire set up for performance and weight savings. Aero drag means more hp but it'll still only really be able to play with 500cc bikes. And I've already figured if the knuckle head doesn't work means 2 bobbers and one that needs a minimum of a 124 cubic inch motor. That's like 2 litres.
And it'll get eaten by an old Hayabusa.
Displacement isn't everything. Someone tries to tell me the 450 sport bike from them would be too much bike. It's like less then 10 percent more powerful and gets eaten by a new 300cc car that's considered a decent starting bike.
Little disappointed by that. But other similar cases. Someone told me friend not to get an old harley basket case. I steered him right. He can afford insurance. 70 cubic inch motor. Like 50 hp. Has good torque though. And he got a valuable bike cheap got to mod it cheap since it didn't have factory paint worth saving and other issues. And he wanted a semi custom.
60s harley if I remember correctly. 9k on a nos knuckle head bike.
Bike weight can also be key. This friend is built like a foot ball player though.
Kpm better for me as a first bike. I'm built like a jockey. Heavy heavy dude like my friend my have issues on a kpm in a windy area if he planned a passenger as well and high ways. Not sure. But that's why I always say don't just worry about displacement. Or even always speed.
My uncle owned multiple glides. Also owned some nice other bikes and cars. Had a 500cc Honda cruiser. Bike couldn't get him on it to high way speed with a passenger though. Different 750 did the same to him. That's way back in the day but used bikes.
Weight can kill the top speed quick. And displacement isn't equal to power or top speed.

But it's an observable fact they've been improving in the last... I wanna say five years or so, now that their middle class is getting bigger and they can hire workers with actual skills. I just completed my MSF BRC and need a cheapo bike to beat up with my stupidity for the next year or two; the price for both new and used bikes is absolutely wild right now (was quoted $7,200 for a KTM 390 Duke which has an MSRP of $4,599; saw a 2007 Honda Rebel with 50,000 miles selling for $2,500) so China bikes have caught my interest.
