I'm sure that meant the world to her. Such sweet, good spirits. I had never heard of Vocal Point until today when I was listening to the radio and I felt incomplete. I felt like a needed a hymn, I looked up "A poor wayfaring man of grief" and saw that their video had quite a few views. Now I can't get enough and I am clicking on every link they have for them. They give me goosebumps every song. Every video. What a blessing.
I had open heart surgery over the summer and can just remember how much I wanted "my" choir (I've been a part of my school's choir for 6 years) to come sing to me while I was there. I just needed that familiar feeling and to actually have friends there. I hadn't heard of Vocal Point then, but if I had I would've begged my parents to get them there! Amazing, truly amazing.
This is so beautiful and such a lovely thing to do! I got quite emotional and I see that some of the band members did too. The guy on the far right seemed to be really feeling it right at the very end. Great job!
Hey just wanted to say that I became an oncologist by using this song and video as motivation in those difficult and dark times. Thank you for posting it!
