What people need to understand is that he cant tell you specific things about the test, but the topics he says to look into are spot on! Thank this man for his time and effort to make these videos to help us all!
I need 4 ASEs for my job, doesn’t matter which ones. I currently have General Maintenance and Light Repair (G1), Truck Brakes (T4), and Truck HVAC (T7). I’m think I might do A7 next because I think it’ll be pretty close to T7. I think you did pretty well, but don’t forget that HVAC also covers the cooling system. Just to give a few of my tips, I used Delmar as well as MotorAge. MotorAge is good for info on how things work, what they do, how to diagnose, and terms (glossary). Delmar is a good way to practice tests. What I did was I took the Delmar tests until I could consistently get 80%-90%. The questions aren’t the same, but you’ll see a lot of questions pretty close. Some are almost the same, just different wording/terms (evaporator filter instead of cabin filter).
@@DriversTherapy Hope so, just need one more to keep Tech II status. I checked you last year when I first started studying. Appreciate the tips you gave.
The straight answer is you have to work in the automotive field. I also know they allow a certain amount of credit for military experience or completing a trade school certificate. Hope this helps. Thank you for watching the video.
Just passed my A7 today! Thanx for the tips. 5down 3 to go to become master.
Awesome!!! Congratulations. 🎉🎊🍾 you are so close. Keep up the great work and let me know if I can help future.
If you don't mind me asking how many questions does the test have?
Which test do you think is easier A5 brakes or A7 heating & cooling?

@@DriversTherapy thank you so much for the info.
As hot as it is now that video is cool. Haha
Hahah yes it is!
What were some of the mistakes you noticed in the delmar book?
A found one error in a practice test answer sheet and in one practice test question, the answer and explanation were posted already.
I mastered that green book and bombed the test! DONT buy it!!
You might want to combine it with the MotorAge depending on your experience. What are you getting wrong?
