I saw him live. He was like a dervish onstage; never stopped moving for a moment. You couldn't take your eyes off him; I never saw an audience so totally enthralled. When I saw him I realized that this is what they meant by charisma - he had an amazing energy.
My mother and father saw him perform @ Wembley. I wasn't yet born. My dad reminds me anytime I listen to Bob Marley's music, he likes to rub it in that he got to see Bob live, several times, and has also seen all of Bob's children and grandchildren perform as well.

For religious reasons Bob rejected treatment (and good prognosis) until it was too late and the cancer spread throughout his body. Until he could carry on no more, he chose to tour and perform -- to continue spreading his message and joy through wonderful music until the very end in May 1981.
