The answer is obviously no, would not be the same as "Scratch" (whom I have seen live years ago at a festival in Brighton England) had an influence in the early days. However after their "disagreement" they had little contact. However, do I believe the songs would be just as soulful, spiritual and down right uplifting, yes I do!!! This song never been old
In July 1977, Bob Marley was diagnosed with acral lentiginous melanoma on his toe -- a type of skin cancer not resultant of sun exposure. For religious reasons Bob rejected treatment (and good prognosis) until it was too late and the cancer spread throughout his body.
Until he could carry on no more, he chose to tour and perform -- to continue spreading his message and joy through wonderful music until the very end in May 1981.
That is how we go when we see a better world beyond the prophetic message. He would still die if he had love the world more than the message he was sent to preach.
Bob was a magnet
i was in line for his last concert when they said, we're sorry, Mr. Marley sin't feeling well, your tickets will be refunded, three months later, he died
He got killed
He was a prophet. All prophets have to finish the mission and die young
Just wowwww... Sharing the same birthday of Bob makes me feel great just for the sake of that. The Messiah saga continues ❤️
What is the Messiah Saga?
I’m listening to Bob Marley and I was 13 when he’s come out it’s brilliant I love it❤
So wish i could've seen Bob live....i was five years old when this gig was on!!! Just FABULOUS!!! Love!! Many many years later i smoked my first joint to Bob....so fitting really!
Hello 👋 Teresa. How are you doing? Hope you are fine. I Mark Clifford am from Denver Colorado. Where are you from? You seem like a real country girl
Wow......Bob's intonation and singing was just unreal
Brother I m listening. Bob Marley is in Heaven! Singing Gospel to the Creator. I’m sure he put a smile on His face. And God said to Bob Marley “ Welcome Home My Son” !
Jimi Hednrix also had that kind of stage presence , non commercial, true expression
Michael Jackson too
James brown
Hard to add to this list. I'd add Freddie Mercury for presence

С днём рождения, Боб Марли, светлая память, твоя Музыка вечна❣ Рақмет 🇰🇿 💚💛♥️
The fantastic movie ONELOVE brought me Here! Amazing how the sons of this video over 40 years ago, resemble their fathers in the movie! Great job by Kingsley Ben Adir as Bob Marley! 🔥🔥🙌🏽
The Barrett brothers 🔥🔥 really were the heartbeat behind Bob Marley
Aston and Carlton were definitely the pulse but the heart beat.....??? Taking nothing from them, would they be the same without the influence and friendship of Bob??? Just a thought✌❤
@@risla1001 all these arrangements belongs to the mad genius Lee Scratch Perry.
@@romaneingram4487 haha, I cannot agree more to be fair brother, the upsetter is also the godfather of all modern dance music!!! I love 'scratch' as much as Bob. Difference is I've seen live and spoken briefly to Lee Perry.
@@risla1001 would they be the same without Lee Scratch Perry 😕
@@romaneingram4487 Wow, that's a good question! Bob had something special in the way he spoke to the world and in the way they listened!!! Was it the same without Peter and Bunny, no but just as feeling! If you have never seen it look for Bob Marley on "the old grey whistle test" I'll say no more than watch it!!!😁😁😁
That bass is perfect
Fax
That would be the late great Aston “Family Man” Barrett.
@@polecatrecords hes dead?
He passed away February of this year 2024.
Along with his brother Carlton on drums, Peter and Bunny. A perfect mix.
