A lot of people don't know he quoted a lot of the bible in his music. He read the bible all the time. He didn't subscribe to the Jesus as Saviour message though until the end of his life. His Rastafari school of thought was that Emperor Selassie of Ethiopia was a messiah but he then died, so I guess not. Selassie was actually a Christian and didn't like the Rasta's worshipping him and tried to send a missionary to tell them this. That's the time allegedly Bob gave his life to Jesus and got baptised. Bob may not have thought of himself as a prophet, but history has made it so, Bob is universal & still outsells any other reggae artist by miles.Nobody has done it like Bob & never will.

Glad you noticed it. That means that you are musical. I was a kid, when this was produced. Not my generation music. Still, I still listen to this. Live at the Rainbow, Bob Marly and the Wailers, best concert of the seventies.
There is something about Bob Marley and the Wailers' reggae that is beyond words to capture. One good thing about this music, when it hits you feel no pain. Pure magic!
Music can hit you and you feel much pain . Fix up your argument and stop with the cherry picking of vocal lyrical lines to justify a nonsensical argument !

It's a world that forces lifelong insecurity
We're the survivors, yeah!
We're the survivors!
Yes, the Black survivors!
We got to survive, y'all!"
Prophet Bob Marley
The guitar player reminds me of my cousin. Pure natural and the man can play! Great Bob allowed Junior Marvin to shine for his talent!
The greatest, Junior Marvin on fire
Forever timeless BOB MARLEY. I envy whoever attend this concert deeply
Junior , Junior, Junior. Man!! What’s a performance. That guitar, the bass, and the king in his element. 🔥 🔥
Bob was right when he said "When you smoke the herb, it reveals YOU to yourself"
Oh yes and when u don't like it you should change it
He came to earth to send a message from the universe and all people needed to do was listen.
As a Caribbean living in the concrete jungle of Canada trying to make it, this song became my warrior song. Before an interview , a business meeting , ect... I listen to it and everything always worked out well. Guess Bob was always by my side. Now leaving the life in Africa.
Bob may not have thought of himself as a prophet, but history has made it so, Bob is universal & still outsells any other reggae artist by miles.Nobody has done it like Bob & never will.
Bob is the greatest artist of all time, along with The Wailers as best band. No other spoke to you like they did
Peter Tosh does make music from another planet just like Bob M

BOBMARLEY had da right balance to bring all ppls to Reggae ,Rasta livity , Jamaica and to look at people with NATTY CONGO locks with respect an high regard. Blacks whites wateva color when we in hatred, jus play any Marley track and shall quell dat fire of hatred, like water does thirst .The spirit of GOD was definitely with this man, when he chant his songs
Authenticity and talent are what greatly differentiates Marley from any other artist in the genre
this is music. pure melody. not the fake music we are listening to these days
Glad you noticed it. That means that you are musical. I was a kid, when this was produced. Not my generation music. Still, I still listen to this. Live at the Rainbow, Bob Marly and the Wailers, best concert of the seventies.
4 sure
I support you
Am here to give you this cool music just watch me move...
Absolutely
There is none likes this guys in reggae music.
He is the gretest of all-time.
This was different class I was there as a teen at the Rainbow rooms in London, what a night,a true legend..
For me this is a strong war song. A song for soldiers to wake up from failure. To stay focused.
SIMPLE ... HE WAS AND HE STILL IS THE BEST OF THE BEST ... NO ONE LIKE HIM EVER ....
1000%^^++^^^
100000000 %%%%%^^
The BEST there was
The BEST there will EVER BE
Sculpting his face and listening his voice... Bob singing in My brain, Bob is alive...
What an exercise, repeat his moves, follow his rhythm...and fly away...
@@bobcosmic dude light one up , and give the bloke some slack,........ and get yourselves brutalised by music 😊🤟🏻😎
Medicine
Vero sparisce il dolore...
❤
Bob Marley was a spirit he is not just making people feel good he is teaching them and inspiring them
Comment est ce possible en 1977 ? C'est un extra terrestre !
🌈 Jah Bless 🌈 This man DEFINITELY had the Holy Spirit of the Almighty God over him and his band!
Wow the guitarist putting on a spectacular performance, what I will give to step back in time and be there. Bobs message will live in our psyche forever. Listen and hear the truth
Who is he ? Who is the guitarist in the white pants ?
@@rykson161 he's called Junior Marvin I think he's amazing
Goosebumps I see and listen this song. Allah bless you, Bob Marley.
UNO dei gruppi più sottovalutati della storia della musica uno dei chitarristi più sottostimati un gruppo che aveva una alchimia sovrannaturale, le vibrazioni attraversano lo schermo e arrivano dritte al cuore ! One love
Who young and still here?
