I love it! I think it's really clever to use the regiline in the channel, and how you used the beads to attach the tatting to the ribbon. I got my starter kit but am feeling a bit intimidated to start!
Ooo, that's a cool design. I never would think to use boning in the collar, but that'd be a lot of support for the piece. I always love when you use the chains to make a body harness. I've wanted to try that myself but I'm scared it won't look as good on me
I'm so glad to see even the pros need to to the needle wiggle struggle to pull the ends through haha. That makes me feel a bit better on my own journey! I thought my tension was too tight!! This is so beautiful, did you happen to pattern it as well? I'd totally love to make this for a Kuromi costume~

I think body harness/chain styles look good on all bodies, so if you have a body it will look great!

My nylon pliers are my best friend when it comes to hiding ends! And yes, it is an original pattern. :)

I have only done the bare basics of needle tatting, so I’m not sure how to convert them, I’m sorry 😞
Can you put the thread on a sewing machine and us it the thread the bobbin?
You can, but I prefer not to as it can sometimes overstress the thread, and also wear out the plastic bobbins faster.
