Good to see emerging content-creating producers like you upping the game. Keep it up, mate!
Thanks! Appreciate that 🙏🏼😌
Been looking for something like this..cheers mate ❤
With pleasure, glad you found it 😌
These are great, thanks!
With pleasure 😌

Thanks! Appreciate that 🙏🏼😌
Max4Life! ❤️
😌
It's fantastic. What the doctor ordered!😎👍
😁😅
btw the whole beat is sounding awesome !!
Nice! Do you like the Zenon style? 😎
Good job! Good devices!
Thanks 😊
I ain’t gonna lie I’ve been trying to find a Soothe 2 alternate for a long while and this just gave me my answer omg 😱
That’s amazing!! 😌
wow where have you been or this is a new chanel, I love explanations and how you make us see the differences, I know its a lot of editing but trust it makes you better than all the chanels we all watch, till you get known and you be the one gettin all the views. thanks
Oh thanks ☺️ appreciate that! My channel is fairly new - 11 months. I do put a lot of effort in editing these videos, as I’m basically doing what I wish someone els was doing on UA-cam 🤷🏼♂️
If you don't have M4L, you can build a clipper with a saturator. Simply put it in a rack, map the drive and the output to macro 1, then open the rack map controls. Change the drive to go from 0db to 36db, and the output from 0db to -36db. When you adjust the macro the two controls work in opposites. The more you increase the macro the more decibels of clipping. Bonus points for mapping color controls, or soft clip to other macros. :)
Bonkers to me that there's not a standard clipper device in Live though..
Great video, as always, and good to see you back on the video game. This is the second video with that nice slide bass.. are these making it to tracks? I've recently made a track with a similar style bass, good to see more in this style!
Great tip! Well there are few things Ableton is missing, that’s why I’m grateful to have M4L!
Yeah I have 3-4 tracks in the making in this style 😎 but a while before they’ll be released!
What music are you working on?
What about the Clip in Glue Compressor ?
@@ouatedephoque I've seen someone else refer to building a clipper with glue comp too, so it works, just I've not got one set up for that. It should give a different characteristic to using saturator, so more tools for the toolbox! :)
@@ouatedephoqueThat’s a good question, the main difference is that Clip-a-me is more precise, because the clipping is visualised, it also has more clipping modes that the Glue Compressor. Overall it’s a matter of what your end goal is.
@@impulsecontrolOK, it's all about the precision. Thanks !
Subscribed.
Thanks 🙏🏼 😊
Good work. Please more! Can you see the M4L workshop later?
Thanks! Yes, the workshop should be available to watch in the next few days!
muito cool
♥️
very good.
I use the vst G-clip, it's free too and has a button to soften it a little (it tries to make the sine wave rounder at the peak you cut).
Is this device also by GMaudio?
@@impulsecontrolnot, from GVST
@@djolisanWould you be kind enough to share a link? 🙏🏼
@@impulsecontrolwww.gvst.co.uk/gclip.htm
Gclip is Greta I use it on so much. Not a super dynamic clipper but it can make some things loud
Hi! Love the video, Can you cover the remappable LFO, Envelope follower and Shaper? Its so much potential!
Hey thanks! I think there are plenty of videos on those devices already
You have a very charming voice
☺️
Quality
Thanks!
Very cool! Is high fre limiter a... De-esser? Just one band? if so, which? Or is it many? It's interesting but quite different from supressing a ton of resonant frequencies only like Sooth does, no?
It could be a de-esser, get creative and throw it on different sounds. It’s 1 band, 6khz and above I think.
✌️
😎
You got right to the thumbnail in your hero for it
Who is my hero?
is there anything to replace soothe's sidechain stuff to carve out space for leads and vocals? as i think that's the only good thing about soothe
Check this device, SonicScoop, not free but only $7! redmattre.gumroad.com/l/gqwzyv
✌🏽
🙏🏼
To my ears the frew versions hat sounds wayy sharper in a harsh way, but overall not bad by any means.
For my ears the difference is minor 🤷🏼♂️
Its not MaxforLive, but spectral compressor is a really good soothe alternative.
Is it free as well? Would you share a link? 😌
Soothe sometimes takes away from the original and I have be just do a very little bit, even if I wish I wanted more taming, this is why I welcome alternative to Soothe
If you go too hard with Sooth2 it can ruin the sound, although the advantage is that you can isolate a single frequency, HiFreqLimiter is decent alternative and it’s free 🤷🏼♂️
Can't add any of the devices from isotonik because they say "out of stock" ..
I emailed the website and it’s fixed now, the plugins are available again!
Couldn’t multi band dynamics do the same thing as the high frequency limiter?
Good point, but I honestly think Ableton have to redesign the multi-band dynamics, it’s not so intuitive to work with. With this limiter it’s just one slider
and Wavegrove Vastaus?
What’s that?
Free vst. Probably similiar to soothe2 principle. Blocks overly harsh high frequencies present in vocal esses, smooths cymbals, guitars etc..@@impulsecontrol
@@jozefkovac5507Thanks! Will check it out!
Came for the plugins but stayed for the ear raping
😅
