Mistakes were made, make sure you learn from me! John Deere 1025R stuck in the mud, trying to cross a wet spot. Don't be lazy and just carry the logs you want across the mud pit.
I have been there and done that. I an glad I had a quadrunner with a good winch on the front. I have since put a winch on the front of my 1025r. Pulled trees over with it but haven gotten stuck yet since I put it on!
@@ArjunFarms not dumb. S___t happens at unexpected times..I was using my backhoe near the creek and got a little stuck. Yhe more I tried yo move it with the backhoe the worse it got. Backhoe didn't have enough balls to move it over yo get out of the ruts I had made.
@ArjunFarms we don't have some of the luxuries of New York. Here in Coastal North Carolina the ground never freezes... we just have to have equipment that can traverse the bogs, or be prepared for some lengthy recoveries. Enjoyed the video!
Man, if I thought of that, at least I could’ve gotten where I wanted!! Jeanious, Ray! I appreciate the comment and hope you stick around for more content.
It wasn’t very lucky - it was purposefully set up. When I captured this, I was actually in the middle of filming another video centered around processing firewood. A large pine split in half during a recent storm, so I was filming cleaning that up. I was just getting B-roll of me driving the tractor to the site, and boom I got stuck. Allowed me to make a whole ‘nother video! Hope you stick around to see the tree processing video - that one will be coming out next!
Very clever how you got out of that! You’re great with that tractor as Dad always said! ❤

It happens to the best of us. All good, nobody died! The winch is genuinely a great idea, so many applications - including saving my dumb ass😂💪🏻

at least you were smart enough to use the loader
Now I’m putting those very same brain cells to use in making a bridge crossing. Check it out on the channel! Thanks for the comment, Mark.
Good thing you’re building a bridge over that area
Land ho!
Nice work!
We got in, we got out!! Learning more and more operator tricks.
I've walked a lot of ground that I later found I couldn't drive over. Not a rookie mistake.
It’s like a wetland bog out here! It’ll freeze over soon enough.

@@BillyP55 My southern Brother!💪🏻 glad you liked it
Reverse that process and you can walk it out forward as well!

I watch your videos all the time friend! Not gonna stop anytime soon. BTW, I figured that out the same way you did, by getting stuck! @@ArjunFarms
I love to hear it. We live and learn. Be good my brother!💪🏻
Wow that was really lucky to just happen to have a camera there to see you get stuck in the mud.
