I like that the speedrunner took the time to showcase the techniques beforehand so that we could better understand this run

His portal 2 run last year has great commentary as well.
He does a lot of cool videos about Portal speedrunning on his youtube channel, so he's well versed in explaining and presenting strats
When he said he’s donate a dollar every time he said “airboat” I actually grabbed my baseball pitch counter. For anyone curious, from that moment until he called time in the run, msushi said “airboat” 116 times.
Absolutely love these "Joke" categories. They seem silly, but wow do you need a lot of skill to make it through the game like this.

I used to mess around a ton with airboats in portal when I was young and its so fun to see how far you can push the game with them. Thanks for making this happen yall

fun fact, valve doesn't consider it a cheat to kick special infected either in Left 4 Dead 2 (unless Last Stand updated it, haven't checked in forever). If a smoker is in the map currently alive and you enter Kick Smoker in the console, that Smoker will disappear.

It's funny, I missed this run, so when airboat became a complete meme for the rest of the event, I was genuinely wondering what the hell spurred it on. Like, I know the GDQ audience tends to latch onto things, but airboat seemed pretty random! Now I understand why.
