Today in Watcher of Realms I'll share tips and tricks I wish I knew earlier and take stock of my 150 day journey so far in the game! I'll share some pros and cons to Watcher of Realms in my opinion. Enjoy!

I have been with you since Clash of Clans. I am 132 days into Watcher of Realms. I am not sure I think I started playing WOR on my own and then found out you were a content creator for the game. I found it through ads from other games I was playing at the time. But, I have to say 100% I was hooked on Watcher in my first few days and I still going hard every day. Watcher of Realms is absolutely amazing from hero design to gameplay it is top teir in almost every aspect. I love the complexity of the strategies and learning how all the different heros work together. Keep up the great work brother I appreaciate you!

I first started watching you in Raid many years ago. But one thing I really love about this game is, like you said, there is a lot to do in this game but I don't feel like I am spending hours every day to get my daily stuff done. I can burn through that pretty quick and then I have lots of time to progress or fiddle with things. I think WoR does a fantastic job of giving enough content to have a lot to do but not having a lot you NEED to do. It's really great

I knew you feom my clash days, gotninto raid less than a year ago and was so overwhelmed i searched for guides and found you again. Saw WoR on your chanel and check it out. Raid is miserable to play on comparison. I had a few hundred apent on my raid account and progressed more in wor f2p. You can easily get summons and gems, food leveling is awesome, gear is way better, pretty much everything is better than raid.
Watched you starting 4 years ago with raid. Gave raid up about a year and a half ago, was tired of it being a full time job. Picked this up and plan on just messing around every few days. Found that you were on this.
I joined your content around Raid for a year or so. Then I started WoR month before you and droped Raid so your content and here we are again.😅

23 days in and enjoying the game. Downloaded Wor after seeing an ad with you in it, and I recognized you from when I used to play raid a ton. I'm completely free to play and I don't feel like this game really requires people to spend if they don't want to.

I agree that this game could take the next step by really leaning into buffs and debuffs and creating encounters that would almost require you to bring certain buffs or debuffs.

Came from your raid Channel. as a small spender (50-100$) i have more fun here at the moment and i love tower defens. .still play raid.but i hit a wall at hard 4-5 and i wait for a ally attacker.

I need a video about champions that you put in the battle and then immediately take out for whatever reason. Still don't understand that aspect of the game play. Great job on the vid.
2 days in...long time raid player and watched a most of your videos for the last 3 years for it. I'm trying to make sure I use my starter energy well and progress the correct epic style champs. Idril seems to be the one from your video that you consider to be good...working on maxing her first

I came over from your raid channel, and finally got fed up with Plarium quit Raid outright. I'm really enjoying the quality of life improvements, less stressful events, and still engaging content that WoR has.
I played wor for 2 days and then immediately quit my raid account. This game is far more ftp friendly and has just as good graphics and gameplay.
Quit raid also... after 4 years
38 days in, completed all progression, gear raids up through 18, and now stuck on tide 111.
I came from raid to this !!! thank you ash! 4 months ago I was starting my journie in raid and saw your video about wor. and I gave it a try. man o man. talking from a spender s prespective everything was 100x better. and dont get me wrong i didnt pop crazy money on it. but u know why!??? coz the games gives!!!!!!!!!

I have watched you ever since the Clash of Clans days. It was pretty much my first mobile game that I got into big time. Then I went to Clash Royale and always appreciated your content (especially breaking down the meta with other players). I started Raid about the same time as you started creating content on it as well and kind of grew along side your channel. I stopped playing Raid like 18 months ago and Clash long before that due to time constraints, but I followed all of your channels still and watched your videos even though I didn't play the games anymore. Your positivity and talent have kept me engaged in your content even when I am watching about a game that I no longer cared that much about. I really enjoy your Chat With Ash videos. I feel like they are more of a pierce the veil of the CC type content and I appreciate that you allow yourself to do that. Even though you didn't cover Diablo Immortal much, I played in the Aftershock United guild and talked a lot with other CC's that you have had a direct influence on. (DM, Veiled, Chosen, etc). All of which talked about you like you were one of the greatest humans on the planet. Which in turn made me want to keep supporting your channels even more. Randomly, we also have children about the same age that share the same name. I have a 6 year old daughter named Charleigh (pronounced Charlie). Then we started WoR about the same time as well (I am on day 138). All of this long message pretty much to say thank you so much for what you have done and continue to do for the gaming community. You have inspired a bunch of content creators including myself. My wife, kids, and I have been running a UA-cam channel on a tourist city that we live in. I have always wanted to cover a game, but never felt like the time was right. When you decided to put forth your insanely valuable time into the WoR community was when I really started thinking about covering it. In my mind if guys like you and HH are backing the game, then it most likely has the stamp of approval of proven vets and has some growth coming. If you look at google trends on UA-cam searches, it was high around global release, then kept dropping, then spikes massively around the time that you started creating content on it. So once again, I want to say thank you. This game might not be where it is today without you. I look forward to trying to grow within this game and eventually covering the games that Fateless puts out.

Followed you from Raid, of course. Love this game and only focus on daily’s and auto fight once it’s opened. I really like to see a side by side gear comparison though like raid has to see if an alternate pc is better or now. I don’t believe that exists here but big for me since I often auto fight and then close out without keeping and selling that minute.
Sup Ash! Iv been with you for about 3 or 4 years started watching your raid videos and you inspired me to get back into content creating. I wanted to start with raid but I felt like I was so far behind and raid is so pay to win I couldn't catch up so when WoR came out it was such a good game and brand new so it was perfect for me to start youtubing again. And yes epics are a staple for me
Wrath, Baron, olague, marri, Delores, idril, hell even a rare (voltus) I've been very lucky on summons but I use these all the time
Alaura, boreas, vierna, brokkir, kai and managed to fuse abomination
Still loving it I've found a lot more variety of heros are needed in various places
I can't remember if I started watching you at the end of clash of clans or during clash Royale, i used to watch a lot more twitch and eventually transitioned to mostly watching UA-cam and have definitely watched a lot of your raid content. Don't know if you ever knew MonsterDFace but I was but into Clash of Clans when he used to stream it.

Hey Ash , so i have a question , i now have both pyros and twin fiend , should i use both in my teams for extra bang for my buck or focus on just one in my team ? , also im about a month behind you in terms of log in but way behind you in terms of champ selection
I think the best tip I have for myself is always compete with yourself and not to others in the game. I need to farm and grow my account at my own rate and try to do better tomorrow than how I did today. I like how you said do what you enjoy. We are here for a Marathon not a sprint.

I have been following you for over a year for raid, but I think I beat you to this game. I think I log into raid once a week now maybe, I havent made any progress there in like 6 months, the 6 minute hard dungeon runs are a real drag when you complete 26, and then fail. This game is way better for me as extremely low spend. Keep up the great content my dude.
In addition, I enjoy the slight differences between champs more than I ever did raid, I hate the way raid is both extremely gear intensive, and Champion intensive. I would much rather get by with Baron and Olague, than need a Seer, and Kymar, or Dymetha, and Helicath for pve, and Taras and Mariska. It's Nice to have Georgid, and Krisk, and I have tons of super meta pve champs but no Seer, Kymar, Calvalax, Zavia, and others who make the grind easier.
i watched some of your videos YEARS ago when you played clash, then fell off that game, and subsequently, videos for that game. I only played Raid for like 2 months, but you and Hellhades were my go to creators, and when i started Watcher (today was day number 98) and saw your name among the videos that popped up, I was like "oh shit. Ash is cool, sick that he's playing this too".

for someone starting off so much improvements are made like guild boss playtest and tide more easier since they reduced mobs attributes tho you will get stuck later on ive learned more about marri stats need be speed priority but dont need that much then rage regen for her ult tho not important but optional then either go dps which is atk and both crits or more support survivability is hp and def best freebie and an epic
Day 186 here.
You forgot to mention the Power of Dominance: Once you beat a Stage "3 Star", you get a 30% Stat boost (that you can turn off) so even with bad to decent gear, your Team can beat it.
This way you only need your best Gear the first time you beat a level, after that you can swap bad gear on the Team or beat the level with "weaker" Charakters that you dont use anywhere else and that is decently geared and farm a level without always having to swap the Gear.
This Game has barely "useless" Charakters. There are "best Heroes" for every Role, but that doesnt mean that others are far off.
The ammount of Rewards the Game throws at us is also absolutely insane (compared to most other Games I have played so far).
im like 190 days in, have dropped some cash but never on skill crystals. currently at 145/172 in gallery and i have 11 legendaries fully skilled, many more just to the point i got their ultimate done or a passive sorted to make them better somewhere if i got lucky, but i'm sitting on 18 crystals and 1187 dust right now, the dust will be gone long before the crystals but i dont even have anything i WANT to spend them on right now, the only thing i have left to do is eso faction trial for a single star cause i dont have a 2nd eso healer, thats it, skilling apsan wont help me with that so until i finally pull a silas or boreas they're probably going to just pile up, i dont need higher drop rates on skill crystals and doubt most people actually will if they dont just go ham maxing everyone asap and actually do events when available.
im 133 days in and i just broke 40k blood like 2 days ago :D very happy with my progress so far

OG Tim - Got on vent (I think) and played clan wars with you in Clash of Clans before they were an actual thing in the game (was a blast). Been subscribed to your channels forever - love your positivity, consistency and overall outlook on life. Appreciate you and all that you do. Started this game because of you and have watched most every video. Made mistakes and have overall enjoyed the heck out of this game. I hope that the devs keep up the good work. Hey ASH, can you help me understand why no CC covrring this game offer hero guides?
Almost Everything about WOR, I believe makes it superior over all other games of the same style/function/RPG genre. However; They messed up Arena with "The Judge" and Void Rift is insanely difficult and challenging, as is the Immortal Codex, so very difficult to get a good score or rank there, and the extreme difficulty stages down at the bottom of the charts, are exactly that.
BUT - If only they did a : "penalty fee free" temporary Limited event, so there's no loss of gold with upgrade fails, that would encourage me to grind like crazy.
And I did go full out max out fully upgraded Lugaru, Nyx, Elddr, Kria, And I'm going to do the same with Volka and Hex. No regrets.
Another tip: Watch Ash and other content creators for some deep dives on the content you're working on.

My only problem is the ancient summoning pity , it's the same as normal summons and 3 months in i am still to see a lego from there, oh and i still have not seen a lego from the gold summons even tho I'm past the pity somehow.
2 months strong. Over 30 legendary heroes. 3 legendary lords. Having a blast.

As much as gear removal for free is nice, it almost seems a shame. Part of the cool thing about raid is that finishing a build is a big thing, youre functionally collecting well built champions, rather than just collecting champions and that one good gear set and thats sort of sad in its own way. At least in my opinion.
I'm about a day behind you I think, I stopped playing raid after my acct got hacked and I couldnt recover it, moved over to here and DH:SG. Though I didnt follow you over, I followed you during raid and was happy to see you pop up again after a few weeks of moving over to a new game, XD
i came from raid from you and hell hades and dont regret it and i think im on day 100 and something and i made mistakes to that i wish i knew when i started like not going on epic soulstones and lego skill crystals

Day 149 F2P. I followed you and HH from raid and this game feels way more F2P friendly. I still love raid but after playing this it just feels excruciatingly grindy

I’ve been playing for 126 days, something that annoys me is that I’ve only done 16 divine summons and I’ve gotten 16 epics from divine summons. 16 in a row and no Lego!
I used to watch you way back in COC days. And found you again on WOR and been loving your vibes and seeing you still be so passionate has been nice. Never watched your raid channel cuz I didn't like gacha games but WOR has been pretty good so far to low spender like me and for someone who loves strategy and TD games I've been hooked since day 3 of the launch of WOR. im looking into lower gear raids of GR1 with accessible heros like greed nauvras and ain my champs that have not gone past P4 and level 40 cause my wrath and marri at P6 and LV60 im sure you can use a wrath and marri should take you far and that is no gear yes there are awakenings and Skills on some of them but tried to keep it F2P heros that at P4 and LV40 easily got to stage 10 without gear so it is doable and ik wrath is day 14 and greed around day 30 but could use marri instead even could use a niro and wrath as lords if i get another marri il look into it more and need niro well obviously you are going to skill up marri wrath greed nauvras is not bad
