The fact that none of the crew believed that randomly driving a car at high speeds was not a bad idea is absurd.

American football player for the Oakland Raiders, a grown adult, was drunk and speeding recklessly and ran into a woman’s car. Igniting it and burning the woman and her dog alive.
Bystanders said they could hear the woman and dog screaming to death.
The football player is only facing 3-10 years in prison.
America and their media are silent.
Y’all have no position to criticize Italian teenagers when you have grown adults doing worse and getting away with it on your own soil.

    Hello, Italian here.
I remember watching the news the day (06/12/2023) and being traumatized.
People of my age watched them (12-15 yrs old watched them usually) so this was very hard to settle with.
the guy that made the clip is called Loiacono, even though it might not seem like that, he was the one that tried to help more (still a fucking idiotic douchebag, considering he tried to help using ice).
The terrifying fact is that theese guys after the incident, said to a person (that saw everything) "Don't worry, we will pay the family and everything will be fine".
The italian jury sistem is very slow, so expect them to be in jail in probably six months.
Also, the driver, Matteo, was high on marijuana. Remeber these guys were for kids.
I hope that the things that these jerks (which is a hard word in italian) will discourage others from doing the same acts.
    Stay safe.

As an Italian I must say I’m impressed you covered this story at all and the level of research made beforehand that shows your dedication to deliver this story to “outsiders”.
I just wanna point out a few extra details that probably got lost in translation/journalists writing the news down.
Sorry for my bad English in advance as it’s not my first language and it is currently half past three.
First of all pretty much no one knew who these people even were before this happened as we don’t have as much of a UA-cam culture as other countries do (too many old people and not a lot of public to share with other content creators [whether on TikTok, UA-cam, Twitch, etc…]) and for those who do have such culture, they’re mostly interested in far better channels than that.
The dynamics of the incidents are still under investigation but what is clear is that the mongloids (I’ll try to avoid using other, way harsher terms) hit the other car directly on the side (I believe you guys call it T-bone [?]) with a Lamborghini Urus against a Smart ForFour which is the equivalent of an heavily armored truck against a paperclip where the little Manuel seems to have been sitting on the passenger’s seat on his mom side when they got crashed upon.
The mom and the daughter got immediately rushed to the hospital where they were red-coded until not so long ago and whilst they both recovered to a safe state, the mother hasn’t released any declarations nor has she spoken to the police due to the psychological shock.
UA-cam started a special procedure to block any advertisements to ever be shown on the channel since they didn’t set any of their videos to private/unlisted (yes, even after they published that apology video) and were still getting revenue that was increasing massively due to the mediatic echo of the accident.
The video from TikTok you saw was an extra they did (gotta milk that content when you spend thousands to rent a luxury vehicle) that was supposed to represent “How today’s kids act when they get a luxury car” which, funnily enough, they ended up representing way better than one would’ve imagined.
Also the very first day of the accident one of the guys (I believe the one from the TikTok video) went as far as being sorry for the accident but immediately clarifying that he was not the one driving (cause that will make you look better).
Finally the two idiots had to move out of the neighbourhood as they were receiving lots of death threats and there’s voices that the TikTok one might’ve even fled out of the country.

The kids that have grown up glued to a screen their entire life all wanted to be UA-camrs, the kids that hadn’t spent as much time online had the standard princess/astronaut/football player type answers. There was a noticeable difference between kids that have been essentially lobotomized by way too much screen time. These kids would literally pace around the room waiting to use the iPad we had in the classroom because nothing else entertained them and they needed the overstimulation to be stimulated at all. And it was really crazy to see the effects already and somebody extremely young, definitely changed my viewpoint and how I will raise my kids in the future

Italian here, if the driver gets charged with both road homicide and the DUI (he was positive for cannabinoids) he may face more jail time than expected

I feel so bad for the mother, it’s a horrible thing to outlive your child especially in such a tragic and unnecessary way, over somebody else’s bullshit.

As a professional driver driving for 50 hours on the road is insane. Here in the states you are only legally allowed to drive 11 with a mandatory break after 8 hours. I get mentally fatigued after 6-7 straight. 50 hours is literally insane even if they weren’t driving reckless they would eventually guarantee a wreck do too lack of sleep.
