    When referring to the tangent arc tool trick to make the arc tangent of the line or make a dotted line and create the arc that is not tangent to the line at 26:30 in the video. After clicking the "3-Point/Tangent End" feature, click the point you wish to start at, then when the circle with the X inside appears creating 4 triangles in the circle, these 4 sections are directives as to whether you will use the "3-Point" or "Tangent End". As you draw your mouse through the path of 2 of the 4 sections in the small circle with an X in it you will find that it creates one or the other of the two features in this arc tool.

    With reference to creating the arc at the end of the two lines at 26:30. When the circle with the X appears, move the mouse vertically up will avoid having the arc tangential to line. Then move the mouse across to draw the arc.

    At about 30:40, I think he is not producing a chamfer as defined in the drawing. The way Creo defines the chamfer feature using the angle and distance results in a chamfer that is a distance D from the original edge and at an angle from that original edge, but this edge is angled due to the draft. I checked the .181 length he uses and the way it is in the drawings, and the length that is .181 in the drawing is actually about .164 in the actual model. Using a bit of trig (.181/cos(25 deg)) and approximating the result should be the correct value to use. If I am wrong, please correct me, but I don't see where I'm wrong.

    Hello, I'm really enjoying the series so far. However I'm stuck at 17:30; I have the problem that occurs at 17:00. When I select the surface for placement and then change type to coaxial nothing happens. If I then click on the center axis the hole becomes coaxial but stops adhering to the surface. How was this problem solved?

      I had the same issue until I realized I needed to control+click on both the surface and the axis. Hope this helps!

    At 30 minutes and 50 seconds the dimension that has to be applied to create the chamfer is 0.1997114"
    0.181" / cos 25°.

    Hey ! Great content, thank you for the work ! At 14:03, while sketching, you can grab the line (and centerpont) of a previous extrusion, is this a Creo 4.0 new feature ? I am running the 3.0 and I would need to use "references" to do that, and even doing that I don't think I can grab the center point. Is there a setting to change ? Thanks

      Hi. I ran into the same issue with 3.0. It seems that locking to lines on extrusions is a new feature in 4.0. To accomplish the same thing, I used the "References" button at the top left to make a few references on the feature and then drew a construction line along that edge. It will automatically lock to the midpoint of a construction line. Best of luck!

    around 14:10 what settings do you have on that allows you to snap to midpoints to a preexisting model? I'm on creo 3.0 and cant seem to get any of those references on. thanks!

      This is new functionality only in 4.0 and 5.0. In older versions select the references button in upper left corner ribbon. then select desired edge. Then use your sketch tool and it will locate the edge.

    Creo 5.0 was released today just when I'm in the middle of this course :(
