thanks for the above video. but could you please show how to use assembly family table in creo. i use solidworks and want to switch to creo parametric. in solidworks we use configurations to show the working of the machine stepwise (for demonstration purpose). i want to learn how can i show the same using creo parametric
i am new to creo..i did assembly with different parts...in assembly if i use any feature like extrude ,cut, etc on assembly it can't updated individual parts according to assembly and vice versa...can u tell me how can i resolve this issue....???
I was unable to call all the part in Creo Parametric 3.0 for this exercise download from the vertanux website, i was using the professional software and the part is prepared with educational version. so can any one guide me, how can it be supported by the professional one. . . . .
Hi. I was trying Lab 5 and I am not able to assemble light frame over the connector. After I align the frame with the connector, I tried to align the supports on the frame. Now when I try to make a coincidence of the supports with the bottom it doesn't get assembled. Turns out the fork in the connector is little bigger than the slot in the light frame. I believe that's the issue. Can you please help me out with that. I tried to modify the part but I guess I can't. PS - I love your videos. very helpful.
Hi Prashanth, try there IGES, and Commercial file links. IGES: drive.google.com/file/d/1F5PqgAJ9ISaap2BFWUWsQI4Q1jAdVUiS/view?usp=sharing Commercial 4.0 Link: drive.google.com/file/d/1Sza18-sgynpB4mXI40_V_ljgE0UrWX4c/view?usp=sharing
vertanux1 For $1400 (US), what configuration would you build including Monitor, Keyboard & Mouse ? I've to build a new PC that should work flawlessly with assemblies & other CAD oriented works, but I'm messed btw AMD & Intel, (GHz vs Cores) & also RX vs GTX cards.
Shumbham, If you are using the PC as a professional CAD/CAE/CAM workstation I always go with the concept that "More is better". i.e.: a CPU with as many cores as your company can afford, a professional graphics card - either AMD Radeon-Pro or Nvidia Quadro P series. Significant amounts of (quad channel) RAM especially for FEA/CFD/Dynamics & Kinematics simulation. In a true enterprise environment it pays for itself in no-time with the waiting times, delays, and frustrations of a budget PC saved.
You might know well what a quad channel setup prices are currently. Those are only available on X99 & Server platforms. & if I go with that, for $1400 I would only have ram, mobo & cpu only.
If you are buying the PC for yourself to use for home, and some gaming it sounds like you have a good computer. If you are looking for a performance workstation on a budget, look at buying a used HP Z420 workstation with a Xeon CPU. I purchased mine for around $400 on ebay. Then I just purchased a mid-range professional graphics card and upped the memory to 32 GB, swapped out the old hard drive with a 500 GB SSD, and even found a used 12 core Xeon E5 4657L v2 on ebay for $300. The deals are out there, it takes time and a little luck to find them though.

Yo thanks for this. Is there a way you could also do a tutorial for modeling these parts? The yoke_male part seems like a hard one to draw.
Absolutely helpful - thank you for the guide.

or is it just transparent?
Great video and awesome explanation! Thank you very much!
parts uses for assy. in this session should be in creo e1-e4 practice.
Hi sir,
I am not able to access files for assembly, Files are protected & I have sent access request please approve. Thanks in advance..

Is it a good idea to use a 43" 4k TV for modelling in Creo ?
That would work.
