Concerning someone stealing your vids, have you considered putting your logo "Studio G" along with the youtube url on the work mat you use a lot and are in a lot of your camera shots along with putting the same on the t-shirt you wear? Otherwise, your videos are really entertaining to watch and you have a lot of skill, keep it up!
Firsthand experience: A lot of real life military camo is stencil sprayed, so the fact that it turned out that way actually better mimics real life. This and grimgerde are some of my fav builds of yours.
@@StudioGundam i knew it! Hahaha having to pass several times over the plastic gates when the brush could do it in a single swoop is more convenient. The vacume does add more video and audio clip to the whole video tho! 😂
First off, I love your videos. The editing is really cool. As for the paint job blurred or jagged lines after pulling up the masking tape means the tape wasn't completely sticking near the edges. Best to use gloves so the oils on your fingers don't get on the tape so it sticks better. Also, keeping the masking tape free of dust by placing it in a bag or the Tamiya cartridges helps too. The sides are sticky and can get dust and lint in them, making the edges not stick well. This maybe going a little far, but wiping down the cutting mat before you lay down the tape might be a good idea if the above doesn't work. Keep up the good work!
In the past, when doing camos on other items, I used a vinyl plotter and cut out all of the patterns I wanted to use. The vinyl will have crisper finishing lines, tack isn't too bad, and the removal process is the same as tape.
I bought my first gundam kit to build after watching your videos. goal is to paint it one day after i watch more tutorials. Keep up the content its really great!
I would really recommend watching ItsAGunpla, Ravi Pla, Jenic. They are my online gurus when it comes to this. I basically watched every single video they had and definitely learnt a lot!
@@StudioGundam I've been watching Ravi's panel lining videos and just recently discovered Jenic's videos. I'll have to check out itsAGunpla, thanks for the tips.
Youre totally damn cool insane bro, the idea and effort is oustanding! I think this is the first ever camo version of Gundam UNICORN and of course for the whole of Gundams...
Wow, this latest video is superb. You really up your game with good explanation, you personal design tots, your final design concept, your frustration, your promise on future improvement / learning and lastly the well put together video. Double thumbs up!!!
Just found your channel. This was rad to watch. The Unicorn was my first RG model kit, and I was so nervous building it. Watching you drop all the assembeled pieces onto the table almost gave me a heart attack. 😅
Such impressive dedication and skill! I think your camo job was pretty perfect. Also you have some serious kit. I wish I had just one of the higher end tools you own; it would make the task a little easier.
I'm thinking of upgrading more stuff if things get better financially. Cause some of the stuff I own is really not that good like my sand blocks, knife and all they are pretty old
I was thinking about that nice airbrush, that fume vent, and that little vacuum thing you used for the nubs, never seen one of those I've got x-acto knives and box cutters that I've used for years, they work totally fine because I know how to resharpen them.
So cool! Dude is really awesome that you like to show us this incredible process, I know you since not to long ago but I truly like your videos, you have my suppor. Keep going with the awesome work!
I love watching your videos. Love seeing how you customize the kits and the paint schemes are always awesome. Really inspires me to want to improve my skills and work harder on my own kits. Keep up the great work!
Great Video! For masking: if paint is running underneath the masking tape, the first color to apply after masking should be the same that is already on the part. after that you can paint the actual color. Good masking tape is also important. good luck :)
Another job well done; you can tell how much time and effort you spent putting into this gunpla, yet I love how you're still wanting to improve your craft. Got done rewatching the Gundam Unicorn anime a couple weeks ago, love your spin on the Unicorn. Keep up the great work!
Good job bro, I skip the first assembly part and start watching on painting. But then I saw how beautiful your video take and cinematography I rewatched it from start. Keep up the good work. I enjoyed spending inordinate amount of time watching your vids!
You may not be satisfied with the paint with the masking, but i think the tiny amount of jaggedness to the camo gives it a "wilder" look if that makes any sense.
i bought both your starter paint and your metallic paint sets and I got to say, they are absolutely amazing, but I feel like you really need to make a metallic purple and a gray paint. A orange metallic doesn't hurt either. And a dark red metallic as well as a super bright red metallic.
Sorry if I watched from the end first. Then I was clapping all the time, until at the end of the video. I was like DAMN THAT BUILD! SO FREAKING AWESOME! then I refresh this link and watch again how this was build, until the end. p.s. I did not skip the ads. as repay for what I saw in here. Hats off.
Hey justin when I build the RG Banshee norn what I did was conect the destroy mode mask with the chin piece before adding it to the actual internal head piece
you ovousaly have to take into consideration this is far in the future and im not sure if your aware but I belive they worship the Zebra god! or they do now!
Another amazing job. I will be able to paint one day. Living circumstances will be limited to spraycan painting though maybe with handpainting smaller details.
omg i love this!!! will you ever even consider making pg unicorn in this same method? i know it will take forever but it would be youtubes best video!!! =)
Outstanding video! Your editing skills, taste and technique are awesome! For masking: color need to be a lot more thinned, I can clearly see the grain on surface, this is due to bad thin or less pressure. Also, use gunze color (or laquere) that are very indicate for masking. Keep going bro!
Thanks for the suggestion rick! Yeah I didn't have access to those tools at the moment but next time will definitely be better. Truly believed in high quality products really do product higher quality results. Just can't cheap out on that 😊
Hey there great video. I’m about to start building my owns RG unicorn 🦄 where did you get the runner storage you show in this video. Also cool little vacuum
Very professional model builder! Whilst I watching your video, I was just wondering how many effort you spent on video shooting and editing. All are great work indeed.
I just got done with assembling the upper portion to MG Johnny Riddens Zaku 2.0 I was surprised how easy his building process was gives me more time to focus on my weathering effects.
