The one detail that is an absolute standout to me is the gradient on the wings. The beautiful subtlety of the layered feathers starting black/gray at the base and gently fading to white at the tips is incredible, especially when you can see it in the middle of the wing with the layered feathers. Favourite part of the whole build in my eyes

primer goes for all painting, not just gunpla. And its not just for color issues. It literally "primes" the surface to accept new paint. Its good and quick option to see blemishes before main paint because it makes everything matte and light does reflect off it super hard.
The point of matte coating is to neutralize light reflection actually, from either gloss coat or an otherwise original shiny surface of the model (which is why military vehicles are a flat olive drab or grey). If anything matte coating will help blend minor imperfections making them less noticeable.
I randomly mentioned wanting to build a gunpla to my wife, telling her that the only one I ever built was a Deathscythe Hell well over ten years ago. She decided to surprise me by trying to find a Deathscythe, Instead she found a HG Wing Zero, which I really enjoyed building. I built a MG RX 78-2 v1.5 shortly after that, and just picked up a RG Wing Zero, what can I say, I'm hooked :P Just recently came across this channel, can't thank you enough for the tips, tricks, and inspiration :)
if you wanna slowly get into customizing your kits, I suggest learning to panel line -> water decals -> painting your kit -> scribing -> adding PLA parts. slowly learn to master each step before moving on to the next step, I hope you enjoy the journey as much as I did.

I'm getting really comfortable with scribing right now, and starting to dabble in painting. Okay, I'm so fucking impressed with the result that I find it difficult to put into words. Absolutely amazing. Maybe the only things I'd change is make those little green accents with a paint that glows under UV light and make the sword longer, but that's really it. This is so damn good it deserves to be in the official Gundam or FF related media. The choice of colours is simply ideal. Honestly, can't praise you enough for creating such an eye candy. I'm a massive fan of everything that's stylish and beautiful and this easily takes one of the top spots among the best things I've seen. Love it!

FF7 was my all time favorite game ever so this is absolutely incredible!!! I miss building these and I want to do a few soon hopefully. I just wish I could do the small details but can't since I no longer have steady enough hands to do so. But again. Amazing work!!!

I appologize for not knowing what the Sephiroth is ( I havent played Final Fnatasy 7 ), but it looks amazing and has inspired me to try and make my own custom with the same color scheme ( which has promptly failed bc I ran out of paint and messed up the ratios ). Keep Building to inspire other!
It looks really good for what you're going for. The paint is especially well done. I can't stand the the one wing and have never been able to and I don't think it looks much better here. That less to do with you and more to do with what Sephiroth's character design has shifted to.

Hey, at least we can appreciate his hard work and passion for making that gunpla, and to me, it nailed sephiroth's aura even without his long sword. He can just 3d print the sword later
So I found one of these at hobby lobby and I said to myself "ive never done something like this before but it looks fun so ill give it a try" and me being as smart as I am bought it one not noticing it was the size of a hand and two that it was "realistic grade" so I spent 8 hours of pain putting together the smallest parts ive ever seen however it did turn out better than I expected altoght smaller than I thought it would be :(
Amazing cross-over! This is the 1st time I have ever watched a UA-cam Gundam customization video of this level which was similar to how I did it 20+ yrs ago (ofc mine were 10 times less detailed) b4 UA-cam and the internet existed. One word to describe my feeling right now is HAPPY! I only very recently started searching on Gundam figures on YT, but this one brought back the memories the most. Although I didn't have as many tools and the financial means back then when I was only a 10-14 yrs old kid, it was all fun and satisfying. Thank you for your work! Now, I have one suggestion. Possible to add a few extra customized pieces in chrome color (not sure if chrome paint is available nowadays), for example, add 2 extra shoulder pieces like the original Sephiroth? Or perhaps Wing Zero X Sephiroth X Saint Seiya? I think silver chrome can really pop on this build. Anyways, just my own extra imagination.
Just amazing truly beautiful the only things missing for perfection were for the katana to twice as long at least an maybe customize the wings head by adding the Nadleeh wire hair extended and painted silver for Sephiroth's luxurious locks.

When you separate all the parts in tubs - how exactly do you do it? Do you do one tub per part? Or like one tub contains all the arm pieces?
