    So far I've watched dozens and dozens of acrylic pours and haven't painted anything. I'm loading my mind up with all that I've seen, trying to soak in all of the different techniques available. The water drops are just fantastic. Thanks for sharing. I know what I'll be sending out for Christmas! If I can get the hang of this I'm sure my family will be amazed when they receive a painting in the mail. They all know I've been painting Bob Ross style paintings for a long time, but they'll be surprised when they receive one of these in the mail. They'll be delighted.

    Brilliant, you have taken acrylic pouring to a new level and a very interesting one indeed. Mesmerising and so beautiful!!! I'm stunned with how simple your water drops are to paint...I've tried to paint them many, many times by following other artists, but always failed horribly so I will have to try those out immediately! Paint pouring fascinates me to watch, but this is the first time I've believed that by using this simple recipe...paint, water and cheap school glue... I could achieve those amazing small cells and limited palette; personally I'm not a fan of big cells and dozens of colours, I like simple and subtle in all things, so this is perfect for me. :D

    • @MiiPaintings
      @MiiPaintings  4 роки тому +1

      Thank you so much Liz. Usually for canvas size 30x40 cm I put around 50-100ml of colour in the cup. I don´t know exact amount, because I never measure it. But it´s a good idea to measure. I´ll try to do that.

    • @jro9365
      @jro9365 4 роки тому +3

      It is different amounts of pouring medium depending on the type of paint you are using but once you have them all mixed up and want to know how many ounces to use on your canvas you can multiply the L by the W & divide by 26 and that will tell you how many ounces to use per canvas size . So if you have an 11 by 14 canvas it would be about 6 or 7 ounces of paint mix I always add an extra ounce or so to make sure its enough to cover all the sides of the canvas. Smart Art Materials has a paint calculator you can use also...she has a UA-cam channel and a website with TONS of info for getting started. Hope that helps. 😉😉

    Really great swipe, and I love the bubble technique. They look like the glass pieces that some have used in their art. Really nice.

      I thought the same thing! They reminded me of glass gems and how they tend to magnify what's underneath! So beautiful!!! :)

    This my new favourite!! It's a stunner, thank you for sharing your ideas and talent. Thanks to you I gave life to a dull pour with bubbles, I followed your tutorial on bubbles and was really happy with the results, my grandaughters (8 & 5) said they love the bubbles the best! Thanks from Sydney, Australia💜

    This is the second video of yours that I've watched and I'm simply amazed... again! It was nice before the rolling balloons, but once you did the balloons it was beautiful! I couldn't imagine HOW you could make water droplets appear there, but you made it look SO easy. It's incredible! When you were halfway done with the first droplet, I could hardly believe how quickly it looked exactly like a real droplet.
