This might be my favorite Memphis Wrestling episode of all.
This was a great angle with Lawler & Dundee. Always kind of notice how Dundee steals bits & pieces from Flair in his promos too LOL. Side note I want to go to that Kool & The Gang concert!

"The Superstar" Bill Dundee, and that wacky little laugh that he has! "Eee-hee hee hee hee!!! Tell ya what, though-The Man knew how to pull off some crazy stunts, that's for sure!
I'll be honest about things, though-Jerry "The King" Lawler came out there, with his little bag of excuses about why he didn't wanna wrestle The Fabs...
& it's some of the weakest stuff I've ever heard, in my entire life! He even got mad,when Bill Dundee beat him for the Southern Heavyweight Championship, and, although Bill Dundee did, indeed, use a foreign object, look at all times, that Jerry Lawler used something that was just as bad-
Fireballs!!! He knew that Bill could do anything he wanted to,
Jerry Lawler cheated in his time too, so he should have no problem with Bill cheating, too!
I remember being at family watching some of these. It brings sparks memories. I have memories of waking up watching these. Those times are rare
I have to say the Fabulous Ones were the most popular team in history.. The Midnight Express were the best tagteam but they didn't have the fan support as the Fabulous Ones..
They never got popular on a national level.

Bill Dundee - William Cruickshanks . I met him in Goodlettsville TN in Cracker Barrel was I worked. I also met Hacksaw" Jim Duggan, ( James Edward Duggan Jr.,) in the Cape Rocket 🚀 Carousel (Merritt Island) in Sears and met his adorable daughter. ( He and Debra have 2 daughters)
It also funny seeing him wearing tenny lamas on normal people around the calf...they were thigh on him.
