One thing I appreciate about the rasslers of those days, and today still, is how they protected each other and didn't hurt each other; in the dundee/landel match, dundee threw the guy outside the ring and bodyslammed him on the floor; watch how he did it, and it didn't hurt that guy one bit; there's a lotta skill involved in what they did/do
Bill Dundee in a tux would look like an audition for The Penguin

Thank you once again!
R.I.P. jerry Jarrett
Jeff Jarrett and Billy Travis later fought the New Zealand Sheepherders (Jonathan Boyd, Bigfoot) in a bloody studio brawl.
A young Jeff Jarrett before becoming an AWA Wrestling Rookie of the Year and partnered with Jerry "The King" Lawler against the Moondogs.
Lol
I can't get the video to play does bill dundee and buddy landell work over jim jamison good in the tag match
Dirty Rhodes with a dirty leg drop omg
prayers for Bobby Fulton who is in the hospital at this time
GODDAMNITT That Izuzu OUTTA NOWHERE...
That is hilarious... Lmao
This Return of Lawler was it a storyline?
I was born Feb 20th 1986;
This is literally like a week after I was born
Damn Pat and Vanna are still doing Wheel of Fortune in 2022.
Pat has a house full of kids to feed so yeah
It’s too bad the Omega’s, Young Bucks, Orange Cassidy etc thumb their noses at stuff like this. THIS is how you get arenas filled. Not gymnastics and stupid poses
The King rules
Mod Squad is a knockoff Legion of Doom without the makeup, or a decent Doomsday Device finisher.
JD Costello at least is a decent promo if nothing else.
"Lawler returns"
Sorta. He literally phones it in.
The Fantastics (Bobby Fulton & Tommy Rogers) later went to wrestle in the NWA (Jim Crockett Promotions) and competed against the Midnight Express (Bobby Eaton & Stan Lane) w/manager Jim Cornette.
They had wrestled the midnight before in world class
@Trucker Jason Not really, you see, the Fantastics were captalized on the success of the Fabulous Ones (Stan Lane & Steve Keirn). Both Bobby Fulton and Terry Taylor were originally known as "The Fantastic Ones" and teamed only for a brief period of time. Bobby Fulton later teamed with Tommy Rogers and they shortened the name of the team, "The Fantastics."
@@zt1053 it was Dennis Condrey and Bobby Eaton w/manager Jim Cornette

WHW brought me here too.
Where did Lance go?
He probably went to check on Jerry Jarrett.
To wherever paedophiles go after they die in pain

Really? I've never heard that about him.
The closest I could find was a teacher with the name Russel Lance Read getting charged for offences involving a minor.
Costello was great on the mic with all the insults and wise cracks!
The Mod Squad versus The Fantastics. Their matches in Memphis were as exciting as the ring wars between The Rock N' Roll Express and The Midnight Express. The bloody ring battles between Jerry Lawler/Dutch Mantell against Bill Dundee and Buddy Landell remind me of Tommy Dreamer and his tag team partners (The Sandman, Spike Dudley, etc.) against the Dudleys in ECW a decade later. Another mention about a manager. JD Costello sure was funny looking. Thin. Pasty faced. Loosing his hair at an early age. He looked like a cross between the sinister Dr. Zachary Smith from the old Lost In Space television series and The Crypt Keeper from Tales From The Crypt.
The Fantastics later went to the NWA (Jim Crockett Promotions) and faces the team of the Midnight Express w/manager Jim Cornette.
Not very good on mic at all.
Rhodes
Buddy said You look like a BUM... HEY EDDY YOU GOT SUM CHEW??? LOL RIP NATURE BOY...
I can't get the video to play does bill dundee and buddy landell work over jim jamison good in the tag match
Dirty Rhodes (Roger Smith) resembles the late, great “American Dream” Dusty Rhodes.
Resembles?! It was a blatant rip off
@AldenRDavis, that was the idea, to look & (badly) copy Dusty Rhodes
90 Days Suspension and a Fine of $25,000 by the National Wrestling Alliance
