But Borstein is an actual comedienne with a comedy writing and stand up background, so one does expect her natural wit to come out in her interviews too. You should check out the Family Guy cast’s appearance on Inside the Actor’s Studio. She’s hilarious on that.

I love Alex. She is older/sharper edges than Rachel so tends to get minimized by the airhead interviewer...but Rachel & Alex obviously have a lovely, admiring and respectful relationship. Gorgeous to watch on screen and off.
the imbalance answer actually much enlightened me. I am in my early 20s and yes I am not happy with my life because my life is very imbalanced and I am desperate to pursue a balanced healthy perfect life.....Maybe they are right, life is always imbalanced...
Balance the parts that you cant live healthily without. Accept the cons of the sacrifice of the things you can live without. Or balance the focus of time. Change your lifestyle ie dont own a home if you cant keep it up, or neat and cant afford a maid or a gardner. Or own something smaller. The balance isn't keeping everything up, the balance is letting go of the things you cant keep up. You dont get the pros of having it, but you also dont get the cons of not being able to keep up with it or it deteriorating on you without its needed time, attention, or finances.
Life will never be 100% balanced or perfect. Just do your best by working hard. Leave time for fun and relaxation. Take comfort in your family and friends...if you can't do that, find new friends and make them family. Take joy where you can find it and learn from mistakes or misfortune.
I'm with Rachel on the "no regrets" thing...and I'm 50. It actually took me until my mid-30s to learn to let go of things I was regretting. I have one thing that if I had the chance again, I would handle completely differently, but only because I hurt someone else profoundly and I carry that guilt with me. Otherwise, no regrets. It's the only way to live, for me. Love their answers, love their chemistry, and I enjoyed Season 2 as much as Season 1 (finished last night).
She was also Ms. Celine, Emily Gilmore's wacky wardrobe consultant. AND she was also the original Sookie! Melissa McCarthy ended up with the part because Alex was committed to MadTV.
I never thought that a show based on a certain time period in America would ever touch my fave Mad Men, but this show might have actually matched it! I see Midge/Rachel as the female version of Don Draper/Jon Hamm, fits the time so perfectly with superb acting and a cool sleek look. They have also paid as much attention to detail as Mad Men did with the past...wife and I addicted to this show! Already top 5 show in last 10 years

Women are constantly being told that we can do it all and have it all and that creates pressure to say yes more and take on too much. I’ve been a police officer for the past 14 years and the one question I get asked all the time is my husband a police officer as well. My husband has never been in law enforcement. I met him right before I went into the academy. But I get so irritated getting asked that question because people assume since I am in law enforcement and I’m married that my husband is a police officer as well. 😡

Seeing Rachel Brosnahan in a modern setting is strangely off-putting. It's like seeing Mrs. Maisel time travel. I guess that goes to show what a fantastic job she did in that role.
I love them, the concept, the answers but as soon as I noticed they didn't turn off the ticking clock sound for the whole 6 min I couldn't think of anything else.
