Beginners always demand a practice model for fist time outdoor flying, and now this model is arrived - the V400D02. It is a Flybarless Collective Pitch Helicopter with tail motor controlled rudder. In short, it is the low price model for all kinds of practicing. First, the use of normal brushed motor and tail motor have greatly reduced the manufacturing cost, and it adapted the latest RC Heli technology, that is the 3-Axis Gyro and the Flybarless Rotor Head reduced 50% of moving parts, this makes the production much faster and easier, and you have a lot less parts to replace after a crash, so it would be a Win Win solution for all players! You may say it is a low price model and just "OK" to make a simple hovering? On the contrary, it flies very well! Thanks for a few good features on the V400D02, the light weight, the flybarless collective pitch(CP) rotor head, the 3-Axis Gyro and powerful motor, we can do 3D aerobatic flight with the stock setup!

While I don't like direct drive ETRM's nor brushed main motors, I must admit that the cost effectiveness of this heli initially and for parts makes this a perfect beginner heli for a beginner CP heli pilot like myself. I wish I had seen some mild 3D in this video, but since I know the old 4g3 was basically a much smaller version of this heli with the exception of the flybar, this will work just fine.

Just wish there were alot more info on how to's for radio set up, and trimming for noobs. Its very difficult to get it all sorted with a manual thats almost useless to a noob . Especially since this is being marketed as a trainer. It IS a great first 400 size for beginners, but good thing parts are very available.

@bassax7045 LOL... that's very true! Didn't think of that. I'm intrigued by the lead on the battery... haven't dealt with that type before. Good thing this comes RTF... I don't think I have that type of connection.

We suggest Master CP rather than V400D02 as Master CP is more stable and good choice for first 6 Channel. :)

@stot2614 just type v400d02 in searchbar ,there is 3d flight of RCMART ,also 20$less there ,dont worry of cooldown period ,with cp hei you like a break between lipos to rest yourselve too

big issues are, nobody knows how the pit guage adapter is supposed to work there is nothing written in the manuals about it , the manuals are badly translated so very confusing for noobs moving to there first 400 size, the servos (plastic) strip out quickly, replace with all metal gear ones. Good stuff, its very well set up for out of thebox stability for a beginner, 3 gyro works very well, for the money, a best buy for a beginner moving into 6ch 400 size, under 200 for a decent trainer.

Sorry you can't as the payload of V400D02 is too low to carry such cams.
