It's funny you should say they are the most real when I believe Chloe Sevigny and the character played by Harmony Korine are the only professional actors in the whole movie. Harmony gave himself 15 minutes to cast the entire movie. Which he accomplished. I think the albino seems extremely real. As well as the two brothers. And depending on where you grew up and who was around so did the cat Hunters. Even Jared. In fact his character is almost too real and he should have found a career in acting. It's just a over-the-top version of the darkness that lies behind small town life. As expressed why say David Lynch in Blue Velvet. Especially after a disaster. The Cockroaches. That filthy water. The kid with arms of straw lifting 5 lb dumbbells. That's all out there.

West Bowl on Charlotte Avenue in West Nashville. It’s been closed a long time but man did I ever bowl there a ton in the 80’s. I remember going there with all the guys that were in my wedding party and bowling really really late the week I got married. Good Times.
All the people in the parking lot seems to be actual people who was just trying to help, No actors. Chloe Sevigny and the 2 other actress don’t even seem in their element asking these random people help. Harmony Korine is Genius for this scene. I’m not saying the movie isn’t a beautiful piece, but I’m saying this scene is the most positive one throughout this whole chaos!
