- I've always loved the "Psycho" score, but feel that the soundtrack was poorly recorded. Here is the faithful Danny Elfman stereo CD synched to the film.
They remade this movie 40 years later and its nothing like this! This is a piece of Art. The acting, the dramatic music, the closeups etc... today its very little talent mostly special effects.
Being made in black and white, when Hollywood had mostly gone over to colour, made Pyscho better as it reminded me of the classic 1940s horror films.
Excellent actor, and the role that he played, he was crazy as hell...lol! He had the "persona" down.
The close up shot at 1:19 is brilliant
Love you ANTHONY PERKİNS ❤
😍😍😍😍
How have you deleted the old music?
I didn't remove all of it. It's playing in perfect synch with the stereo recording whenever there are sound effects or dialogue - very tough to match them up!
Just asking, respectfully, but what happened to the score at one minure, 40 seconds in? I've known this score by heart for decades and was wondering why a crucial 5 seconds of that was cut off? It seems as if the video is complete, but maybe the movie edited that part of music with the trebly violin solo note part. Maybe the movie cut that bit of music out to accommodate the shot of Perkins coming out the door to leave? I take it you are also familar with the full score?
Yes, as I matched the CD to the film, I found a lot of music sections were cut. The visual editing took precedence.
She forgot about Marie Samuels

When he addresses her as 'Miss' she says "Crane"
