I think this may be the most significant video you guys have ever put out. I mean let's be honest you take us to mind blowing places but this is literally once in a lifetime of once in a lifetimes. You two are delirious in the most exciting good way. To watch you guys act like a pair of kids the night before christmas is a fresh change to the channel.
THE…BEST…VIDEO…ON…THE…ENTIRE…INTERNET!!! I mean, how could it be any better?! A true adventure, beautiful scenery, excellent funny engaging hosts/narrators, snow everywhere, driving through in machines equal to the task… and even a dog or two!!! It can’t get any better than this!!! This totally ROCKS!!!
Definitely one of your best videos! As Kevin was doing shenanigans on the Arctic circle, I chuckled to myself wondering what the original owner would think of this. He just sat on it in his garage, meanwhile you guys are taking it out on these insane adventures. Maybe he made a few grand on it, but these adventures are priceless.
interesting to see the arctic circle from that side of the world! i just did the norway side and it...is obviously similar minus the wild, rogue shirtless men at 24:55 🤣
Fantastic trip , I can't wait to do this trip this summer . You had to deal with cold , in the summer it's insects , black flies , mosquitos , and the roads , if it rains a lot , well , they turn to a mud mucky mess , and with the trucks flying past , it's a whole other set of issues to contend with . Still can't wait 'cause like you said how many people do this and travel this remote . There is so much to explore in the north of Canada , and it's all pristine and absolutely beautiful . Last year I did the Trans Taiga trail in Northern Quebec , you wanna talk remote , when you hit the end of the Trans Taiga at Caniapiscau you are 750 km from the nearest town the furthest you can get from a town in North America on a track ,an absolutely beautiful feeling to be that remote , and a bucket list acomplishment for sure. Did it solo in my awesome built for overland travel Tank green 2 door JK , what a trip AWESOME!! Cheers Wild Bill , overlanding the North of Canada 👍 . Never stop exploring!!
Yes Britany, sometimes you just got to stop and admire Nature's beauty! Dog sledding! Now that's a once in a lifetime event! What an adventure you both had! Happy Trails to you both!
I remember one night the northern lights were really active and there were colors other than green and it was so beautiful I started to get cold. After spending years working outside everyday saying you were getting cold is a way of saying you were way too distracted, dangerously distracted.. It was so beautiful and unusual to see colors other than green I will cherish the memory for the rest of my life.
I see Chris supertuned your AC 😂! Thank you so much for sharing this journey with us you guys. Kevin's going to the right just a bit didn't work out as well for me at this time 😉🤣. Much love you guys ❤❤💯🤙
Did you guys drive through Grand Prairie? I’m curious, cuz this is the farthest north, I’ve ever driven into Canada. Have fun, and be safe!! I had a Close call driving through, and that’s exactly what happened to me, what you guys are describing! my left tire got caught up in a snowbank, next to you know I was in the middle between the two lanes.😮. It was a bit scary thank goodness nothing happened, I engage my 4x on F350 truck and pulled myself through nice and easy, i did have cellphones, but no reception. Talk about being in the creek without a paddle lol. went back on my way home it was -40 or so. PS we used to deliver RV’s fifth wheel, and pull bumpers, from Elkhart, Indiana, all over the US, and Canada.
We didn’t drive through Grand Prairie on this trip. The closest we got to it was on the way back (video still to come!) on our way through Jasper National Park!
@@LiteBrite got it. Keep bringing those, adventurous videos!! My wife and I, love watching you guys!!! BTW, if guys, need anything related to trailers, any trailers. We live in the capital of all types of trailers, in Elkhart, Indiana!!
Apparently I have a different take on the word “desolate” …too me any inner city is desolate, I’d refer to where you are as beautiful, empty, wilderness but never desolate
I worked building the, Dempster Highway for 4 years in the early 1970s. You didn't really see bad weather or good northern lights. There might be a blizzard @ -40 degrees with 50 mph winds and there might be northern lights in 4 colors sweeping rapidly across the entire sky. Better luck next time. ❄️👍
so i take scout troop kids camping up to -30, mainly cause any colder than that and we waste too much gas letting trucks idle randomly. at least in CO and you previously knew, most anti-freeze is only good to around -35 ish. but back to my point, if you can tolerate 0, you can tolerate -30 cause (again here in CO) there's very little moisture in the air at those temps. the snow is squeaky and powder dry. some of the most miserable camping i've done though was in November, at +25 overnight. But it was 45 during the day and lightly rained for about 2 hours. 95% humidity and 25 degrees was brutal. Couldn't get warm in sleeping bags due to everything being saturated.
Yes I agree about the wet cold vs dry cold. I went to Oregon State and one winter I visited my cousin in Boulder and it was 5°F for a week. I covered everything up and was able to get warm. Went back to Corvallis and it was 45°F and I was colder than when I was in Boulder.
I was stationed 4 yrs in North Pole Alaska ( Airforce), been on 60 below for weeks, and snow over 4 feet in my yard. But a dry cold is a lot different from the lower 48 cold. But the Chances of frost bites goes up. Northern lights are amazing to see in person. I'm glad to see they enjoyed frozen snow and ice roads. If anyone gets the chance to visit, try the bald eagle run in Haines Alaska. There's nothing like seeing an eagle catch a salmon or fly upside down holding one.
Just a note. If you tap the check mark next to the GPS indicator that will let you know a Ford Sync update completed and it will go away. I want you to do it so the OCD in me can relax since it's been in a couple of videos now. 😂
Just found your channel recently and thoroughly am enjoying your posts! Beautiful trip to the Arctic, but very desolate. What would .you do if you broke down? Unlikely you could call AAA. Does Canada monitor or patrol those roads? Sat phone?
Awesome videos of your artic expedition, I ran into this one from 1978 and thought you would enjoy watching it. There are a couple 30 min videos of it here on youtube. 1978 Jeep Expedition of the Americas
I love your videos. Some constructive feedback...; while editing please turn down the volume of the music. I find myself turning down the volume when the music is on, then having to turn the volume back up to hear you both speak. Thank you!
They kinda ARE snot wipers. They're called "Sweat" sumthin or other, but kids have been usin their gloves/mittens to wipe snot for AGES and grown up too.
I use a Midland MicroMobile base station in my Jeep, it is pure awesome! As the lead, i've held comms with an entire 50 Jeep train...in the woods! CB won't do that. Its also nice as i can usually raise other groups on the trails to find out where they are and what they are doing to coordinate better.
@FordPerformance these 2 have taken their Braptor SO far beyond anyone and done R&D from red rock rock crawling to arctic,..please sponsor Lite Brite !!
Insane! Drifting on the Arctic Ocean? All bundled up like (..dare I say it..) the Michelin Man! But the DOGS!, they just don’t care how cold it is. What’s amazing beside the Nitto Tires are the Vehicles! All seem to have worked without trouble or breakdowns?! Can’t wait to see more. LiteBriteNationExtremes!
I am curious why there would be no satellite radio service. I have three vehicles; all with XM/Sirius satellite radio. I have never failed to receive service, unless it is in a steep canyon with no line of sight to the south sky. I would like to find out more about this. Perhaps a lower line of sight angle to the XM/Sirius satellite?
At about 6:30 in... tarántula downpours? I don't think anyone wants that. On a more serious and realistic note... If you did have a winch, but no trees... How about a boat anchor?
As humidity goes up you’ll feel colder at the same air temperature. The moisture reduces the efficiency of your thermal barrier (coat insulation, long underwear, etc).
Tuktoyaktuk is hard to pronounce as you're finding try to think of it as Tuck-toy-yuck-tuck where the toy and yuck share their y's. It isn't the way it's pronounced by the Inuit but is as close as Canadians generally get.
The winter world is a whole different place your A/T tires are only good when you stay on the road. Once you get into that snow you need much more aggressive tires and air down of course.
The pads on the thumbs of your gloves are 100% for wiping your nose. I had a pair of Burton gloves that had that pad on 1 thumb and a little plastic squeegee on the other one for your goggles.
Absolutely awesome , your living life as it should be . Thank you for taking us on your trip with you . We got to experience a journey that wouldn't have been possible without you . Keep up the content . Thanks .
Amazing video! How were the vehicles to start in the mornings. I grew up in the Eastern Sierras where it got negative degrees sometimes and we had block heaters on the cars. Any issues with the Jeeps?
use a snow/sand anchor when there's no trees. But there expensive for something you hardly use. always good to be in a group to anchor off each other with no trees.
Hey was it a Blue Bronco, for some reason I think it might be the same Bronco Matt from @off the ranch rebuilt and the New Owner said he was driving it too The Arctic.. 🤔🤔🤔
Great video and beautiful scenery..I will never make it up there to see those things so it’s great to watch your videos ..not a lot of people can say they were there..keep up the great work.

Those that dream of hiking the Arctic Circle are just crazy. And those that fulfill that dream are even crazier! lol.
Your best video yet 😍😍
It's a winter wonderland... 🙂
Diamond tooth gerty's is a hoot in thee summer time.

Wet cold is the worst cold (coming from a Texan who has also live in CO and UT)
Yes I agree about the wet cold vs dry cold. I went to Oregon State and one winter I visited my cousin in Boulder and it was 5°F for a week. I covered everything up and was able to get warm. Went back to Corvallis and it was 45°F and I was colder than when I was in Boulder.
that "turn on the AC" bit was pretty damn funny 29:51. I wasn't expecting that lol!
The thumb thing on the glove, really is for boogers! Burton even calls it a SnAP, short for Snot Absorbent Pad, lol! Sick video.
@4:33 u can see the vehicle that made the road to the very end..
It's the End of the Road as we know it!
Thanks for taking us on your journey it is awesome watching you guys 👍❤️

Trip of a lifetime! Thanks for bringing us along! By the way Kevin, the fuzzy spots in your mittens are for goggle cleaning not nose wiping. lol
🤣🤣 Totally makes sense
Great video guys! And boy the A/C works amazing in the new Bronco...that was too funny! 👍
This is an awesome trip

I'm glad you did that and filmed it so I don't have to do it....I'm surprised your engine was able to keep the bronco warm....ish

That's cool for you guys. But I don't do ice. Yeah you wold not catch me out there and I don't care what you call me.
Amazing video! How were the vehicles to start in the mornings. I grew up in the Eastern Sierras where it got negative degrees sometimes and we had block heaters on the cars. Any issues with the Jeeps?
What an awesome experience. And Im really enjoying the vlog style of these last two videos.
Coolest couple, most amazing videos, once in a lifetime trip! Love you guys!
Thank You for sharing your adventure, absolutely stunning pics, me and my wife will definitely put this in our bucket list. You two are the best.
What an amazing journey. All in all the Bronco Raptor seems to have done fairly well. If you ever do this again take the Demon Child for comparison.
The fuel range on the Demon Child definitely wouldn’t be fun to deal with. 😅😅
Hey as a truck driver who has a preference of clothing to wear when I'm on the road ... Kevin I understand your comfortable driving gear!!!
Was there a Tim Hortons on the Artic Ocean? If you didn’t see it maybe it was in the Dollar General.
use a snow/sand anchor when there's no trees. But there expensive for something you hardly use. always good to be in a group to anchor off each other with no trees.
HA HA
Sucks you right off 😂.
Looks excellent trip loads of fun ✊
Finally got caught up on the latest videos! I Think🤔🇺🇸🇺🇸
That video was awesome I enjoyed that. I couldn't handle the cold tho I give you guys props.
Satellite radio might be out because of the snow / overcast sky's?...
The Lead truck gets stuck twice; then Kevin just sends it in the Bronco!
Yes, the fabric on the thumb and back of the gloves/mitts are so you can wipe your nose!
Just think a bit to people going there with sledge and dogs for hunting and try to survive with few things.. Fish and goose at dinner !
How fun was that trip...great recording and music.....thanks for the ride
What a Magical place.. Soak it all in guy's loving this little Adventure..

My Gosh now that is a total difference comparied to Sand Hollow Hurricane Utah
I grew up in northern Canada, so am familiar with the type of roads this video has depicted.
If you're going to Alaska you should come down and check out Seward
Bet my falken AT3Ws would've been better in that snow.
Nose wipers Lolol I agree with u Kevin, they’re nose wipers for sure!!!
These are average everyday winter roads in Northern British Columbia Canada

Theres a Channel called Calum who has a fantastic video about them!
@@GordonTurnerr You would had thought they'd show us it. They were right next to it. It is a fascinating mobile lab with lots of history.
I live in Minnesota, I am very familiar with the cold and the northern lights.
-23 degree wind chill doesn’t seem too bad considering it got to -17 here in texas lol
Whoa! What an epic road trip and the memory that's imbeded in your brain forever. Cheers from Denver Colorado!
Just like driving in Wyoming with the snow draft
You said your satellite radio stopped working. What about your navigation?
That is wipers on your gloves that is used to wipe off your goggles or helmet.
Obviously they CAN park there.
I drive in this all the time its easy.....lol in 2 wheel drive.....lol

No lift on the Braptor, and the Recon Grapplers are 37”!
Should play the Sarah McLachlan song with the dogs
Inuvik was my moms hometown, and I used to work on a tug boat that would travel the Mackenzie up to Tuk. It's so cool to see you guys enjoying yourselves up there :) Im a big fan :)
That’s awesome!! Although it was amazing driving on the road now that it exists, it would have been super epic to drive up the river!
Looks fun. We get to drive out to the knik glaciers here in Alaska
